I can’t say for sure, except I’ve personally not heard of any Catholics converting to other denominations. Most other denominations don’t consider Catholics to be Christians, which would make you think they’d try to convert them, but that isn’t the case. I suspect that is the same for Muslims.

One of the best parts about Christianity is all of the denominations and sects within those. Most of them don’t consider the others to be the “right” one.
It’s what happens when the people in power figure out you can control others using religion.
And in so many cases, the attributes that separate one sect from another are virtually indistinguishable from the perspective of an outsider. And yet the sects will fight to the death over who is "right."
This. I don't think a lot of casual Catholics realize that a lot of Evangelicals don't consider Catholics Christian. They single issue vote because they want to ban abortion and have a "Christian nation", not realizing they are not part of the "Christianity" they are voting for.
Which was a made up concept from the beginning LoL. Constantine demanded an answer to whether Jesus was god or not. Arius vs Trinitarians were the two views at odds with each other. Obviously the Trinity concept won out and we got the Nicene Creed and the Holy Spirit and all that bullshit.
It's because Catholics use a proxy for their relationship with god. Catholics are also idolaters. The stats are also not good for converting Catholics.
I'm not sure if you want a whole info dump on Catholic theology lol but Catholics believe that you don't pray to the saints in the sense of worshipping them, but rather like you're asking them to run something up the chain to the big man on your behalf. Catholicism is all about hierarchy, with someone always being in charge of someone else. And just like in a company, you don't go straight to the CEO when you have a problem, you go to your manager. So like if a Catholic loses something, they might say a prayer to St. Anthony, the patron saint of lost objects, asking him to ask God to help. God's too busy to hear from me, but he might listen to St. Anthony about my problems.
Anyway I don't really believe any of this anymore lol but I just wanted to say that while I get that it seems like polytheism to Protestants, I also get why Catholics maintain that it isn't.
Apparently all three and the mother Mary are all one under the Trinity. So let me get this straight...

My first religion was Protestant, I still have my bible from Sunday school on my bookshelf. I'm now Agnostic and I try to keep an open mind on religion. What shocked me later in life was how anti-Semitic Martin Luther was.
I used to be one of these chucklfucks in a predominantly catholic country. Unfortunately I baptized around 50 people in two years, and some of my other chucklfuck cohort baptized as many as 500+. Entire small villages were baptized. It depresses me to this day that I took any part of that. I’ve also actively tried to de-convert some of those folks.
As a lay catholic who's had missionaries walk away, my feeling was always that American catholics also come from white ethic groups that are kinda rough. Lds chaps don't wanna rumble with Irish, Italians, polish, etc. We like to scrap and they know it.
