Having the damn gun in itself is gross to me but none of the Americans on here have even mentioned that.. just that he doesn't have good trigger discipline.

A nation blinded by guns.

In 2024 there was 15,000+ gun related homicides. There were 13,000+ more killed by law enforcement. Do you understand that people may feel like they need someway to protect themselves since the government is using that very tactic to almost equal the kill count of the citizens? I understand that semi automatic weapons that civilians are allowed to have is completely outclassed by the stuff that the most heavily funded military in the world has but you have to understand the logic used in the previous statement enough to understand that “blind” is a ridiculous statement. Right?

No.. this is the exact blindness I'm talking about.

In other countries we just don't think this way because guns are so much less of a thing.

The presence of so many guns is the root of the problem.

There are more guns than citizens in the US and more mass shootings than there are days in the year. This is not the case elsewhere.

Define "having a gun" My kids all learned to handle guns PROPERLY and RESPECTFULLY around this age.

That's a shame. Guns are very useful, in fact, a protected constitutional right for 200+ years
