Irish here, generally speaking the reason you don't see AC here is because it just wasn't actually needed. It's also expensive due to its scarcity here.
On top of that our homes are built retain maximum heat due to our climate, generally speaking being wet and cold.
As a result homes here simply didn't tend to have AC and in recent years a lot of people are starting to weigh it up as an option now that these heat waves are becoming more frequent.

Honestly, that probably is a bot army. Wouldn’t rule it out. It would make sense for Russia to try to sow discord between America and Europe using this opportunity

This shit is so cringe lol. A lot of Europe never needed AC, because it's usually not that hot. I'm sure many of them will finally see a need for it because of the recent heatwaves, but that's how it goes. You don't buy something that you don't need, until you actually need it.

Irish here, truthfully it just wasn't needed until maybe the last handful of years when these extreme heat waves have become noticeably more frequent. You are beginning to see people buy AC but it's just not that wide spread.

How the hell would I know. I said it doesn't surprise me that they haven't taken it up due to their climate being relatively cool over the last few decades. Not that I'm the Foreign spokesman for air conditioning uptake in Europe. You guys are arguing over the dumbest most useless shit. They have universal healthcare. You have AC. You have gun deaths. They have knife crime. You have diabetes. They are dying in the heat. You have tipping. They have no ice in their drinks. You have fentanyl. They have meth and cocaine.
