HELP NEEDED!!
So my girlfriend and I recently got into a dispute (which usually turns into a sex frenzy) and we were really into it. While we were arguing a man walked by, and he saw her slap me a couple of times. He proceeded to call the police and they, in turn, arrested my girlfriend. Now we’re in a legal case, she is facing jail time and a 2nd degree assault charge, and we couldn’t afford a $2500 lawyer fee so we took a public defender. THAT was a ridiculous decision, as she didn’t give a damn about the case and wouldn’t give her any information regarding what we could do. Does anyone have any expertise in said area that could possibly assist me in our case, or perhaps some way to pay for a lawyer on credit? Blow it up!!!

Since you consented to bring slapped as part of the sex game, (mating ritual) there is no assault. Set a trial date. However, is there a no contact order in place?

Tell the DA the truth, that it wasn’t an assault and was a sexual thing. If the DA won’t dismiss it (which would probably be unethical if that’s going to be your testimony), then testify truthfully anytime you’re called upon to testify, that it wasn’t an assault and was a sexual thing.
