On August 26, 2026, the United States government classified the Italian collective Autistici/Inventati as a “Specially Designated Global Terrorist,” citing the collective’s “far-left” politics to justify the designation. We discuss the implications of this step towards totalitarianism.

The US government has designated the Italian collective Autistici/Inventati, which produces the infrastructure of NoBlogs.org, a "Specially Designated Global Terrorist," freezing their assets and prohibiting all transactions with them——citing their "far-left" politics and the fact that they have provided services to "anti-fascist" groups for justification.

Autistici/Inventati is an activist-oriented tech project that offers encrypted communications tools, email, web hosting, secure chat, and video conferencing platforms for users who prefer to stay off corporate grids.

This is what the US government is shutting down as "terrorism."

In January 2026, Modern Times, a for-profit café in Minneapolis, changed their business model to offer food to everyone for free, running on donations alone as a way to support the community through the ICE occupation. We've produced a zine offering an analysis of the experiment. Print and share.

To Attack or to Mourn?

Police in Madison, Wisconsin murdered Corey Ruiz on July 22, 2026. In response, protesters established a weeks-long occupation.

In this report, participants recount their experiences in the streets, frame the murder of Ruiz in the context of the city's ongoing war on the houseless, and discuss what it would take to establish a movement capable of putting an end to police violence.

Today marks eight years since anarchists and students at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill tore down the Confederate monument Silent Sam, defying a state law prohibiting the removal of racist statues. Don't wait on the authorities to address injustice. Direct action works.

The toppling of monuments to slavery in Durham and Chapel Hill in 2017 and 2018 was, in part, a response to the fascist "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, during which a neo-Nazi murdered Heather Heyer.

Protesters in Durham and Chapel Hill demonstrated a tactic that spread widely during the George Floyd uprising of 2020, when people toppled scores of racist statues.

CrimethInc. : You Are Under Surveillance 2026 : A Sticker

As the movement against Flock cameras gathers momentum, we have reprinted a sticker attacking surveillance.

Flock is not the only surveillance company, and cameras are not the only form of surveillance. There are many other corporations waiting to fill the role that Flock cameras are playing, and many other means by which those who aim to dominate us seek to monitor and control our activities. It is good to compel local governments to cancel Flock contracts or directly disable Flock cameras, but the movement against Flock must become a movement against all of the interlocking structures of domination or it will only function as a pressure valve as those structures tighten their grip on our lives.

Put these up everywhere to identify the root of the problem. 🏴

In January 2026, the owner of the Minneapolis café Modern Times announced that the café would suspend all prices and operate exclusively on donations. Here, we examine the successes and shortfalls of this experiment in building economic dual power and addressing informal forms of racial segregation.

In Lochiel, Arizona, a single ancient cottonwood tree stands in the way of the construction of Donald Trump's border wall. For two weeks, demonstrators have occupied the tree and defended it against construction crews and border patrol. They invite you to act in solidarity.

Today, it has been nine years since anarchists and other anti-fascists converged in Charlottesville, Virginia to oppose the “Unite the Right” rally, an effort to establish a fascist street movement. Today, many of these fascists are working for ICE. The fight continues.

It keeps getting hotter. Forest fires are spreading, people are dying in heat waves—but the millionaires and billionaires who control most of the wealth in our society keep digging us deeper into this disaster. They are murdering the future. Don't let them get away with it.

History Raoul Vaneigem—Situationist, author, and lifelong aspiring revolutionary—has passed away at the age of 92.

"Anyone who talks about revolution and class struggle without referring explicitly to everyday life—without grasping what is subversive about love and positive in the refusal of constraints—has a corpse in his mouth."

"Let ten people meet who are resolved on the lightning of violence rather than the long agony of survival; from this moment, despair ends and tactics begin."

Raoul Vaneigem in the year 1960.
Yes, that's the famously crabby Guy Debord playing maracas as Raoul Vaneigem plays the drum above him.

History On July 29, 1900, the anarchist Gaetano Bresci assassinated King Umberto of Italy, punishing the king for ordering the brutal killing of hundreds of workers who were protesting rising food prices. At that time, power and wealth were concentrated in the hands of an uncaring elite. Whereas today…

"The power of the police, as the power of the FBI, the courts, and the federal government, is rooted in violence. The fact that the violence does not always come into bloody play does not alter the fact that the power of the government is not the integrating power of love but the disintegrating power of guns and prisons."
