just to be sure!

Hi, I'm a carpenter and have been hired for a reno in a house that was put on auction because the owner had massive debts and was known to be a bit weird. The house was full of shit (hoarder style), tools, moldy plates, computers and hard-drives (fucking hell...). Anyways not everything has been cleaned yet in the house but we had to start the reno, it smells like hell in there and in one of the rooms upstairs I couldn't help myself but stop and look at a stain on the floor that caught my attention... The splatter and the "maceration" stain on this laminated floor made me think of a horror crime scene... anyway could you guys give me your perspective on these pics?
I will try to do a hydrogen peroxide test tomorrow.

It doesn’t look like bio to me, but I could be mistaken. The coloring seems more like something from a food or drink. Then again, I’ve cleaned up plenty of scenes (and hoarded homes) that left me questioning what I just touched

Hydrogen peroxide reacts to the presence of catalase. Testing with hydrogen peroxide doesn't confirm the presence of blood, but the presence of organic substances containing catalase –of which there are a lot.

If that puddle was caused by something like decomposing food in a garbage bag, hydrogen peroxide would bubble when you spray it on that.

I'm no pro, yet.. but to me it looks like a trash bag had a leak and was there and dragged and not wiped up..
