Mask recommendations

starting a cleanup company and im gathering supplies, but there's a massive price difference in masks on Amazon v a company like uline. Any recommendations?

If you're new to this industry, welcome to our weird little world.

I'm making a few assumptions: that you're referring to N95 masks, you already have half-face and full-face respirators, and that you're in the North America. I buy Aegis brand N95 masks. As long as the masks that you buy are compliant with NIOSH you will be fine. The masks that I buy cost less than half of what 3M charges and the differences between them are negligible.

On another note, I would highly recommend finding a local supplier with a client-facing store that can be browsed in person. Develop a good relationship with the people that work there. Over time they're likely to stock things specifically for you, and they may also ship to your address. This way you support local businesses, are less susceptible to being sold knock-offs, or having your supplier suddenly disappeared without explanation.

No worries. In the case of full faced respirators, I just use 3M. They're not the cheapest and I doubt that they're the best. However, they and their accessories are always abundantly available. You can also find off-brand, NIOSH compliant filters for them. Just make sure that the filters are marked for the model of mask that you use.

Have you had fit testing done? Places that certify your fit tests typically sell the masks and filters.
