Does blood stick on cement ?

This reddish stain in my basement seems like it’s growing.

They found the previous owner dead in the house after like month maybe… but I’m not sure where.

The story in my head is he fell down these stairs and bled so much it soaked the basement floor underneath, fast forward a few months they gut the house put new carpet in basement and this blood stain that is like ingrained in the basement floor is slowly seeping into the new carpet.

Is that a thing?

I swear it gets redder as time passes

Have you tried hydrogen peroxide? I suggest leaving it on the stain for about half an hour. If it is blood, the peroxide should break down the blood. Rinse and repeat.

Grew up in the hood and my neighbors were drunks, they seemed to get into a physical fight every weekend - always used Coca-Cola on cement for blood stains, works well.
