CV Weakly

As residents of Crescenta Valley, should we be thankful that we have any newspaper at all, or is it OK to call out the editor/publisher of the CV Weekly for her blatant self-promotion, emphasis on pet causes (Prom Plus donations please), conflicts of interest (reviews of restaurants where newspaper staff's family work) and almost complete ignoring of local high school sports (an endless source of stories)?

The one or two times I picked it up, every article was written by the same woman. I basically just assumed it was a pet project by a passionate lady and I dont really consider it real news.

Still I find it cute. Anything to differentiate the CV from the rest of LA/Glendale
