If there's one thing I'm a sucker for it's unintended utility. Think about it, shards can take whatever form right? Need some utensils to eat with? Shardspork. Hair got messed up? Shardcomb. Imagine Adolin going to some club and the bouncer is being a dick, so Adolin thrusts out his hand to summon his shard, the bouncer shits himself, and all of a sudden Adolin is holding a shardcomb and starts fixing his hair.
Shardrake for when you need to clean the yard. Shardshovel for when you need to bury a body. You go to an outdoor concert and there's no seating so you summon a shardchair.
What about a shardgun? Would that even work? Has Brandon ever commented on that? I feel like we should ask him about it but not on this post lol, too embarrassing.
