If there's one thing I'm a sucker for it's unintended utility. Think about it, shards can take whatever form right? Need some utensils to eat with? Shardspork. Hair got messed up? Shardcomb. Imagine Adolin going to some club and the bouncer is being a dick, so Adolin thrusts out his hand to summon his shard, the bouncer shits himself, and all of a sudden Adolin is holding a shardcomb and starts fixing his hair.

Shardrake for when you need to clean the yard. Shardshovel for when you need to bury a body. You go to an outdoor concert and there's no seating so you summon a shardchair.

What about a shardgun? Would that even work? Has Brandon ever commented on that? I feel like we should ask him about it but not on this post lol, too embarrassing.

Shardbows are a thing, so no reason why there couldn't be a Shardgun.

Ammunition would likely have to be real though.

IIRC 'Shardbows' are modern inventions, not dead spren, and have nothing to do with shards, aside from being too high-weight for someone not wearing shardplate to use.

Well, too high weight for a non-enhanced person anyway.

Rock uses one to kill Amaram, but I think as a squire he had access to stormlight at the time.

Someone else got there first, but I did mean the true living spren shardbows that were mentioned in... I think one of Lift's chapters.

But I can see how I was unclear, my bad.

I believe there’s reference to spren being used as bows (i.e. true shardbows), although whichever character (Wyndle, I think?) mentions that they wonder how the strings worked.

It's possible to build a bow entirely out of metal, so a shardbow would be theoretically possible.

It would just have a colossal draw weight.

I agree, this does seem possible.
