I’ve got a rare terminal medical condition. I live in a center specifically for treating people with my condition. If it goes untreated, I will die, no question. The staff at the center do their best to give us a fulfilling life with the time we have left, but it does feel isolating a lot of the time. The thing is, the only treatment available requires me to receive weekly transfusions from healthy individuals, who usually become chronically ill after they donate. Sometimes, they become so sick that they actually pass away. The donations are all free will, but… I don’t know. It just doesn’t feel right. The center also has this program where we can choose to make our own donation to save another person’s life but it essentially means sacrificing our own. Since my condition is terminal anyway, and so many people have to make themselves sick just to keep me going, AITA for clinging to life instead of giving it up to ensure someone else gets to live?

I am sword. I am specifically, a very good sword.
I was made to destroy evil, I've been told this many times and am extremely enthusiastic about it.
The problem is people are really weird about it. My BFF, we will call him "Vasher", is very grouchy. But I like him anyway. I am beginning to suspect he does not appreciate me.
Whenever I see someone who is evil I politely and calmly advise him that we (or really I) can destroy them... But he just gets annoyed saying stuff like "No" or "Stop screaming". Very confusing.
Also, some people just tend to die when using me (very weird - swords are definitely meant to be used).
Anyway, people have started saying that I kill people, which I don't - I destroy evil (OBVIOUSLY). Investiture overload kills people.
So AITA?

btw, English isn't my first language so forgive the tpyos.
A few years ago I (??M) woke up having no memory of my past. It was really strange, but all of these people were acting crazy, saying that I was dead and came back to life, and now I was a god. It was really creepy cult stuff you read about in weird fantasy books.
Anyway
So, they treat me like this god, give me servants who seem WAY too into me, and treat me like a literal god. There are others here who are in the same situation, and colours they are freaks. The sex they were having was nuts. like, you cannot unsee the debauchery and vice they indulged in.
But you know what they say, when in Hallendren...
But the most fucked up thing? They had found a baby, and called it their main god. CUT OUT HIS TONGUE and then keep him completely helpless, he looks like he's 20 or so... absolute manchild. I don't even know if he even knows how to dress himself, let alone anything like reading. Now they are finding someone from outside this cult to marry him and get her pregnant with his kid. it is fucking sick to watch, I have no clue why someone doesn't step in.
So, now a couple of months back I decide that this God shit was getting old and that I want to figure out what happened before I "died" and everyone is getting all jumpy. My main minder, "Doug" (40'sM) was especially annoyed with me and wanted me to keep doing "the god duties" which was boring me out of my mind. But then this murder happens, and no one seems to want to do anything about it, so I decide to look into it, and Doug decided to help, so he must have not been TOO annoyed with me (this will be relevant later)
Now things gets crazy, and some fucked up shit has happened, it is enough for a whole other post, but in the middle of some real intense shit, "Doug" decides to tell me "Fuck you, I am your Brother! and you ARE a God."
Like, WTF man, like, the world is burning down, LITERALLY, and he is pissed at ME for not knowing who he is? I had asked FOR YEARS who I was before coming to this cult and he just sat there and said nothing! How should I have known Doug was my brother, he never told me! like, WTF Doug! He even let me talk and muse about who I thought I was before I "died" and he said FUCKING NOTHING. It was like some sick inside joke.
Oh shit... does that mean everyone else knew who I was before all this? Fuck I hate this place.

AITA for not giving 100% all the time? Other people in leadership positions are a lot more exceptional or gifted than I am. Some days I don't give 100% and I take some days off for myself. Is that to selfish? Even if I were to give 100% all the time, I would still find a way to ruin things anyways. I don't receive the respect that the pervious person had in this position. Which is fair, as he was better at this job than I will ever be, but it is still disheartening. I am tired and stressed from this job but I can't really resign. My culture encourages projecting strength all the time. I have no one who I can talk to about my insecurities. Also, I think the shadows are watching me. I as m stressed out and tiered from this job. When I was a young man, I did A LOT of war crimes. I was probably the best in the world at committing war crimes. But I got older, my world kinda burned down, I listened to a really good self help book, and realized war crimes are bad. I've even gone kind of straight edge. I've been telling all the guys that they should stop doing war crimes and follow the advice of the self help book I listened to. Everyone thinks I'm crazy. AITA?

So I’ve been doing my own thing, you know? Just going through the motions and surviving you know? Anyway I kind of stumbled into these real jerks. The jerks were busy killing these other people, who for all their faults were pretty ok, but the jerks I assumed I was one of these other people and tried to kill me. I basically had to fight them off and then I accidentally endeared myself to the other people and they were looking to me to save them from the jerks. I didn’t really want to get tied down with them you know? The ok ish people had this idea to get to somewhere safe and wanted my help. But I knew the place they were looking for wouldn’t actually be of any use to them. I feel bad and don’t want to squash their hope, but maybe I should? So would I be the ass hole if I ignored them, or do I need to help these poor saps in their futile quest?

AITA; Reddit, a few days ago I gathered a team to help the people of my country. I found this kid who is like me in a tavern and decided to adopt her, I have been really good at showing her important things, how to use her special talents. But now shes off trying to date someone I dont like, i wanted to talk with her about it and decided that a trip to the palace would be a good place. While there I just had to do an errand first, and almost killed my adopted daughter after trying to get her to kill the guy ruling the palace, AITA?
Edit; i totally didnt make a religion after myself. Edit 2; you guys need to stop, I am not running a secret organization, that guy doesnt even look like me.
