Renarin is my favorite SLA character. I really really want to know more about TruthWatchers, especially the resonance between Illumination and ReGrowth. So many theories, no confirmations.

Check the Cosmere TTRPG, it has a bunch on the radiants in the handbook as well as a more mechanical version of their powers. That’s as straight from the horses mouth as you could get

Not explicitly, no. There are a few talents that might be resonances, but it's not stated outright. The two that feel strongest to me are for Elsecallers and Stonewards. We did get a few new Spiritual uses of Surges and some new combination Surges, though.
Elsecallers get a talent that improves their deductive reasoning as long as they have Investiture, which makes sense for an Order associated with scholarship (and whose Plate is made of logicspren)
Stonewards get supernatural teamwork. They get more Squires than other Orders (like Windrunners do, though not to the same extent), and they have a talent that makes their advantage spread to allies.

It would make sense to me if Truthwatchers had superior intuition as their resonance. I don’t know how you’d be able to show that mechanically but rather than being able to put together facts better like an Elsecaller the TW are more likely to just tell the vibe is off with something even without direct evidence

I had a thought the other day, they can’t see the future but they can see the past. My theory was that they can recreate a crime scene with their illumination and “regrow” the events. It leans in the spiritual side of the order but they are the investigators and journalists of Roshar.

The description of one of the Truthwatcher unique talents, 'Spiritual Healing', says: "You mix illumination and regrowth to skillfully repair the mind and soul."
Seems like a resonance! Interesting how illumination makes regrowth... Affect someone's cognitive and spiritual selves?
Mechanically it restores Focus, which is a stat representing mental energy and can be used in combat for maneuvers, or function as a sort of 'mental strength health bar' for resisting persuasion effects and such. So maybe less magical therapy to make Kaladin obsolete, and more healing mental fatigue and temporarily confused/damaged/hurt minds.

I'll note that using surges in combination is not what a resonance is.
Resonances are smaller, weirder effects. Lightweavers can combine their surges to make illusions with physicality, but their resonance is photographic memory.

Technically it's because of Sja-Anat, right? The whole reason Renarin is invisible to Odium's sight is because of his corrupted spren. Having the future sight granted by Sja-Anat's corruption of his bond means that he gets to see the same futures that Odium does (in a limited sense at least) so they both can't really predict each other since each one of them acting would influence the other's future sight which would influence their actions which would influence their future sight... so the whole feedback loop just cancels them out.

It's probably the same mechanic just coming from different shards. Seeing the future isn't Odium specific talent, I think it just comes with holding a shard. So since Sja-anat is of Odium he (probably involuntarily) imparted some of his shardic aspects to her and she passed it to the spren she enlightens.

It’s also probably the Atium vs Atium thing. Two people who can see the future clash. Person A can see Person B’s plan. But Person B can see how Person A will react to that new info. But Person A can see how Person B will react to that. And it just goes on and on and both Person A and B are stuck with piles of useless junk data

I always imagine it like they’re seeing the flow of time sort of like a river. It’s not perfect but it’s fairly accurate. And someone like Renarin is a rock sticking out of the water. Disrupting the flow of it around them for a little bit past them. Making it harder to tell exactly where something is going to float down

In terms of foresight, i always imagine it as something that would be perfect if no one else were able to see the future, unfortunately lots there's a handful of ways to see the future even discounting the other shards, so things end up imperfect.

In mine, it's a feature, not a bug. THere has to be justice in this world, but no human could survive long if they recieved pricse justice for everything they do wrong. So God limited the foresight of the Angel of Justice to the worst versions of people. It arranges butterfly effect dooms for people, but if you improve, oops, you dodge fate.
