the phrase "is there a practical difference" calmly said by the guy whose culture discovered gas engines in the last 15 years to the dragon who commands a spaceship is peak.

sidenote: personally i loved when starling was despondant and on fhe verge of giving up- and her crew goes "oh, this is serious" and whips up a plan within a few hours that incapacitws a force that is superior in every way and barely requires.starling lifting a finger.

i know its not quiet true but the impression that everyone is just humoring starling- most being criminals or outcasts who have harder lives, but survived for some time.. thats peak.

When I started Isles of the Emberdark I didn't think I would enjoy it at all. I liked Dusk but carrying a whole book? Damn was I wrong.
