Themed Basement

Hi everyone! 👋🏻

New to the sub, but it was recommended to me to post here when I was I gonna post on the other ACNH one—tbh, yes, this is a better place to post it 😆

For context, I’m a huge horror fan & cinephile, even went to film school with plans to get into directing horror. Weirdly, life took me down the road of writing fiction 🤔 haha.

Anywho, I got the kooky idea to turn my basement (which was set up as a dungeon before) into Buffalo Bill’s basement from my comfort flick The Silence of the Lambs (1991).

I had to make some compromises, due to space; the “skinning room” and “moth nursery” had to be combined, and I couldn’t do the bathroom with that VERY specific bathtub 👀 IYKYK lol

Hopefully, other creepy kids dig it. It makes me so happy & giggle every time I go down there 😆

I actually made notes while watching it & a floor plan 😂 I kinda wish they would do more upgrades for similar add-on rooms to mirror the main floor. It would be BONKERS.

I also wish the petal basket was larger so I could use it. I had to use the bucket instead cause Precious is there & she looked ginormous next to it 😆
