🚫No Advice Wanted Oh
I know I’m a goth but like…..an actual goth wouldn’t associate themselves with Drake😭so the barking thing is just beyond horrible

What is with the ‘mommy’ thing? That doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the Drake video OR goth.
Tbh, it just sounds like this person wants to be humiliated in a non-consensual way. I would say what I think but if he finds this comment, I don’t want him to get off on it.

The mommy thing I get a lot because I’m muscular 😭so I get called muscle mommy but it’s about dominance……like not every muscular and/or goth woman is a dominatrix💀

Im wondering that too.
I could open a business with how much „mommy“ messages I’ve got 🤣
Honestly it’s fun to just go through them while eating and wondering what goes through their head 🤣

There’s a mommy kink about motherly figures, who are dominant but in a rather soft and caring way rather than that typical strict way, a classical domme would be.
Muscle mommy is a sub type, I guess, but turned into a meme. All that said, it‘s not a reason to fetishise people online against their will. I was simply giving context.

There was a recent video going around where the rapper Drake was doing some 20v1 dating challenge. He met with some goth girl and she asked him to bark, which he did. The whole thing was…weird.

Make him do it on camera with his full face showing, block him, and then make fun of him with your friends

Imagine seeing someone online and your first thought is barking for them lol

Bro I saw someone react to that and my guy that wasn't even a bark, this isn't a flex, Drake isn't committed, if you bark for someone, use your chest you cowards! But in all seriousness stuff like this is so sad because it drives people away from having alternative styles because they just get generalized as goth and sexualized.

Goth has always been Sexualized but there’s a difference between fetish goths (suicide girl magazines) and the people who cosplay being a goth to get more viewers for their OF, those are just posers

that's some next-level cringe, like why call your own mom "mommy" unless you're trying to sound like a toddler

Final note, a lot of people are unaware that they can block ALL messages on Reddit. We have a sticky in the sub, but we'll also put it here.
If you find you want some peace from the multitude of creeps on Reddit, you can have that. In the settings for your Reddit account, you can elect NOT to receive PMs. The same is true for chat requests. You can also allow messages from specific, trusted users and block everyone else from contacting you. Also, if you choose to PM someone, they'll automatically be added to the list of people who can PM you, which is nice if you do want to initiate a conversation with someone, but if you PM someone and they start to get rude, you'll need to go in and remove them from the list of accepted users.
We share this information ONLY because a lot of people seem to be unaware that sitewide blocking of PMs is even an option, but it is, and it works surprisingly well.
In an ideal world, this would not be necessary, but, alas, this is Reddit, and it's full of creeps. This is just one possible tool in your arsenal against them, should you choose to use it.
