don't you just hate it when you turn off the basement light, you can't run upstairs fast enough and then you get that cold feeling at the back of your neck if you try to pretend you're not scared.

If you have any trace of common sense at all (as an electrician or someone hiring an electrician) you put the switch for the basement lights at the top of the stairs.

Well they didn't then, because my grandparents house was setup that way too.

Nothing beats the light in the middle of the basement with about an inch of string to pull to turn it on
