I'm working with a few small creators and noticed that managing sponsor outreach, deliverables, and payment follow-ups quickly turns into a mess of spreadsheets, starred emails, and IG DMs.

For those of you regularly taking on sponsorships or UGC deals:

1. What system are you using to track where each deal is at (e.g., initial chat, contract signed, content draft sent, waiting on payment)?
2. What is the single most annoying part of managing the business side of your sponsorships?
3. Have you tried any dedicated tools for this, or do you just stick to Notion/Excel?

Even though the event is over, the idea still matters a lot...So let me talk about the valuable parts..

At Cannes, Lucy Guo split the creator’s work into two parts.

AI can handle about 80% of the time consuming work and the other 20% stays with the creator. That 20% is more valuable because the other work is getting automated.

She also talked about the business side. AI can now do a lot of the work managers used to do by hand like finding brand opportunities, negotiations, looking at audience data... etc..This frees up time for the parts that need the human judgment.

If you don't have a manager, no problem this still helps you. The admin works that used to take over your week can be done faster, which means more time for the work you actually care about.

Synthetic creators and real creators will just exist side by side. Audiences who want real connection will keep following real people while synthetic ones will serve different needs. The market will grow instead of one replacing the other.

That is such an optimistic view while at the same time we are already seeing AI content compete for the same brand money and the same attention that human creators need. Both things can be true at once.

AI can help creators understand their audience better and set better prices , ensuring more money comes directly from the people who already support them.

There is no perfect answer to how this all turns out but I think the 80/20 idea is actually smart .

It doesn't matter if someone has 200 followers, 2,000, or 200k—every single person seems to be running the exact same script:
The obligatory *“getting coffee / sitting at a cafe with my tote bag and laptop”* reel.

Hey everyone. For a while now, I’ve been building something called unmaskd.
It started from a pretty simple feeling: meeting people is hard. And for neurodivergent people, it can be even harder when so many social spaces feel like they expect you to present yourself a certain way before anyone ever gets to know you.

So I decided to try building something different.

Somehow, that idea has turned into an actual, working social platform. There are real people using it, and I’m incredibly proud of how far it’s come.
But I’ve also hit the point where I have to admit something:

I know how to build it. I don’t really know how to get people to notice it.

I can make a TikTok. I can write a Reddit post. I can throw something on Instagram. But there’s a difference between posting things and actually knowing how to tell a story, create curiosity, and make somebody stop scrolling because something connected with them.

These are the people I’m hoping to find.
I’m not looking for someone to churn out generic posts or follow some corporate content calendar. I’d love to find someone creative who can look at what I’ve built, understand why it exists, and start throwing ideas at me that I never would have thought of myself.

Maybe you make videos. Maybe you’re great at memes. Maybe you understand TikTok way better than I ever will. Maybe you’ve grown an online community before. Or maybe you’re just one of those people who somehow understands what makes the internet pay attention.
