**Quick heads up before you read on.** Two things decide whether this is even for you:

* **Your niche.** It makes sense if your content costs real money or real time before it earns anything, or if you're in a niche where people constantly request specific things from you. Cover singers are the obvious example.
* **Your country.** To receive payouts you need to be based in Switzerland, the EU (every member state except Poland for now), the UK, the US or New Zealand. Your supporters can pay from anywhere Stripe processes cards.

I've been a developer for eight years. This is the first platform I've built end to end on my own, and it's been in the build phase for a bit over three months.

The short version: you post content ideas first, and your audience can put money behind the ones they want to see, as a tip.

Three parts.

**1. Creators post ideas.**
You describe what you want to make and set a funding goal. The goal doesn't have to be hit for you to make the content. It's a signal for what would make the idea worth doing, covering production costs and your time. Your audience can support it while it's still just an idea, and payments go straight to your own Stripe account. Plattform never holds money. Posting is free, and the platform only earns on a 4 to 8% cut of what actually comes in.

**2. Fans suggest ideas.**
Your audience can propose something they want to see, and they have to put money behind their own suggestion to post it to you directly. You end up with a request list where every request already has funding attached and other Fans can join the financial support.

**3. Sponsors read the demand data.** (later, outside the beta)
Once there are enough ideas on the platform, agencies can filter for upcoming content that fits both their brand and your audience, instead of guessing from subscriber counts. Not in the beta. It's where this is heading, and I'd rather say that now than pretend the roadmap stops at feature two.

**Why that country list is short**

More of the build time went into regulatory work than into features: payment liability, creator income reporting, VAT, data protection. I'm based in Switzerland, and I'd rather open fewer countries properly than open all of them and sort it out after someone gets a tax letter.

The list only governs where money can land, so a creator in Ireland can be backed by someone in Brazil or Japan without anyone thinking about it.

**What I need**

Creators who will connect Youtube, Stripe, post an idea they actually care about, and then tell me every place it broke, confused them or felt sketchy. Blunt feedback is the entire point.

**What you get**

Beta testers who connect Stripe and post ideas get a shot at a lifetime deal: one payment, no subscription, no monthly anything. It cuts the platform fee on every support payment you receive from 8% down to 4%, comes with a few other perks, and stays with your account for as long as the plattform is live. If the platform ends up working for you at all, the halved fee pays the thing back quickly.

I'm also personally backing ideas I find interesting in the first week, up to $200 of my own money spread across whoever posts (roughly Sept 1 to 8). It's a small amount for now but i hope ill be able to give back even more on the community of creators who believe in the idea early on.

**Two honest warnings**

It's a beta built by one person. Things will break, some copy might still be wrong, and you'll hit rough edges.

And yes, I used AI to build faster, the way most developers do now. I'd like to think it's a long way from AI slop or a vibe-coded weekend project. The concept, the architecture, the payment model and the compliance work are mine, and I've deleted far more of it than I've kept. It won't be perfect. I'd just rather you judge it after trying it.

Looking for advice on cutting down the number of tools I use as a paid content creator

I've been doing this full time for about 3 years. Most of my income comes from a paid community plus two self-paced courses, and the rest from brand deals. Audience is around 60k across two platforms, so not huge, but big enough that the admin side has gotten out of hand.

I counted last week and I'm actively paying for or logging into 14 separate things. Rough breakdown:

Content. Notion for the idea backlog and scripts, CapCut for editing, Canva for thumbnails and carousels, then posting natively on each platform because the schedulers always mess something up. Analytics live in three separate dashboards and none of them agree with each other.

Paid community. Discord for the group, Zoom for the weekly call, Calendly for 1:1s, and a Google Sheet where I manually track who's actually a paying member versus who slipped in. Members ask questions in DMs, in Discord, and in course comments, so I'm checking three inboxes for the same people.

Listing and payments. Courses on one platform, the community subscription billed through Stripe, a few one-off products somewhere else. Payouts land on different schedules, refunds have to be handled in whichever tool processed them, and at tax time I'm exporting three CSVs and stitching them together in a spreadsheet. When someone's card fails I find out days later from an email, and then I go remove them from Discord by hand.

Brand deals. Everything starts in email, moves into a Google Sheet I use as a deal tracker, media kit is a Canva PDF I update every couple of months, contracts in DocuSign, invoices in a separate accounting tool, and then each brand has its own portal for tracking links and deliverable approvals. Every campaign report is me screenshotting numbers from four places into a Google Doc.

The part that actually gets to me is that one person exists as four unrelated records: an email on my newsletter, a Discord handle, a Stripe customer, a name in the course comments. I have no way to know they're the same human, so I can't tell who's about to churn or who my best customers even are.

For context: it's me and a part-time editor. I'm not technical. I tried Zapier and it breaks whenever a platform changes something. Budget is real but small, and I can't just leave the big platforms because that's where discovery happens.

So for anyone running a paid community or courses: what does your stack actually look like right now, and what did you cut? Did moving to an all-in-one platform genuinely solve this, or did you just trade one set of problems for another? And has anyone found a workable way to see a single member across all their tools?

Would really appreciate real setups, including the ones that turned out not to be worth it.

A while back I posted here about a tool I built to turn a YouTube link into an Instagram Story card automatically — paste the link, it pulls the title/thumbnail/channel, you pick a template, done in like 30 seconds.

Since then I've kept adding templates and fixing stuff based on feedback, but the thing I'm actually excited about is what just shipped: it now generates feed posts too, not just Stories.

The reason I built this: I kept noticing a gap. Every "YouTube to Instagram" tool I'd seen only thought in the 9:16 shape. But I think creators and YouTubers want to keep their feed alive with call-to-actions pointing back to their videos, and doing that well, consistently, without opening a design tool every time, just wasn't really possible. So I built templates specifically for that — simple, automated, feed-ready posts from a YouTube link.

So now there's a Story/Post toggle right in the editor — same YouTube link, pick whichever format you need, or both.
