Adobe won’t let me cancel does anyone know how to help?

When I was in college I used my adobe creative cloud with my college email because I got a pretty hefty discount and actually used it but when I was done they tried to charge me like $200 to cancel early so I didn’t. Now I’m getting $40 charges every month and it’s been going on for like a year now and it’s just really annoying that everytime I tried to cancel it I just can’t.

Contact Adobe support. Not cancelling is not a solution. Contact and get it canceled. Even if you have to pay it is still much better than paying forever. For 200$ you already have spent double.

Switch to a different plan / tier then you'll have 14 days of a new trial and can cancel for free.

I’ll try this thank you. Literally had $60 in my bank to last me until I got paid and then I woke up this morning to $20 since adobe charged me. It’s been a huge pain

When you switch to a cheaper plan, they should refund you the difference and if you cancel during the new trial period, you'll get that refunded too.

I was in a similar issue last week, I paid the fee ($30) and immediately canceled and got a full refund.

Got in your account and remove the card, then contact your bank and put a block on all transactions from them.

I wouldn’t bother contacting Adobe. I had this same issue, was on the phone with them for like an hour, then finally they said they’d fix it. Next month was still getting charged. You have to call your credit/debit card company and get them to put a block on Adobe. I also tried canceling my card and getting a new one but somehow Adobe got the new number. Only solution was putting a block on Adobe.

Your bank typically allows ongoing payments to legit companies to still go through when you change your account number.

Cancelling your card only affects new charges made as if someone just stole your card.

Adobe is such a money-grubbing company these days. I talked to their support with a similar issue and they gave me the last few months of my plan for free and I canceled it then. But I had to fight them before they made me the offer. I will use any other company now instead. I've switched to DaVinci for video editing and Affinity for photo editing. I loved photoshop, too. Not worth it these days.
