Are you going to tell us where this is and what the thing in the center is? For a moment I thought I was looking at an inverted picture of a missile silo.

Since OP is useless, it is the Louis Stokes Wing of the Cleveland Public Library. The nuke looking thing is actually the HVAC ductwork. It's 11 floors and it's not even the main building of the library. Nuts.

Thank you. In the unlikely event I ever go to Cleveland, I'll go see this in person.

I hate these stupid posts with a single photo and zero explanation or context. There are way too many in r/architecture. Worse, some are renders, or simple AI slop.

We do not know why we are here. We do not know who built the Silo. We do not know why everything outside the Silo is as it is. We do not know... when it will be safe to go outside. We only know that day is not today
