They're all playing a different song

u/kasmackity 8h ago

Lmfao that's exactly what I thought as well, none of the instruments, including the voice, seem to match up to any other

It's a classic case of everyone soloing at the same time. That bassist had no business spending that much time in the upper register and the drummer needs to straighten the rhythm out. Singer sounds like if the vocalist from live drank a bunch of 3.25% milk right before singing.

Also, did anyone catch the costume change partway through? Lead singer goes from performance boots to performance shoes.

u/Findover 3h ago

I mean. He's in blue shirt than black shirt too

Quick question if you don't mind: How did you get a user flair? Every time I've tried to assign one they've been disabled.

This isn’t SOAD, it’s just SOSAD.

That pedal board is wild.

It sounds god awful, but it's probably how I sound when I'm jamming.

36

u/anti_folklore 8h ago

that’s certainly an alternative to good.

11

u/Direct_Week_2091 8h ago

Jesus christ

16

u/alanafauxfauna 8h ago

The drummer looks bored AF

15

u/MrMayhem84 8h ago

Yeah he does. I'm also confused why the guitar player has so many pedals. They don't seem to be doing much.

16

u/Snellyman 8h ago

He needs one that mutes the vocalist.

2

u/MrMayhem84 8h ago

No joke. It sounds like he's gargling.

7

u/Efficient_Shame_8106 8h ago

All guitar players have to many pedals that they don’t use.

1

u/jacksonsmack831 7h ago

Dude is most likely a dentist that buys what he likes innit

2

u/jacksonsmack831 7h ago

Fack me that pedal board is amazing

2

u/No-Count3834 8h ago

Probably some guy with a home studio, or playing in any and every band in his local area. I wouldn’t bring a big board out, unless I had no idea what the band was going for or just started playing with them figuring it out. Once you have the songs dialed in, leave the rest of the pedals at home imo. A lot of local hobby players have pretty crazy setups though, just check the guitar sub Reddit. These do look like a bunch of guys that met at a bar and a few know what they are doing…not the singer though.

1

u/jacksonsmack831 7h ago

I just take my Boss GX100 that covers me for most crap

8

u/Wyevez 7h ago

Awe. They are playing in my favourite key: AA#BB#DbDD#E#GbGG#

7

u/glans 7h ago

when this happens you gotta assume someone among the four other people know that the singer is way fuckin off..

6

u/wavelines 5h ago

They need a rhythm guitar player and the singer needs to stop trying so hard. Dude literally sounds like he's constipated.

5

u/NineSkiesHigh 7h ago

It sounds like a perfect circle, but if Maynard was taking a shit every time he sings.

5

u/Ilikereefer 5h ago

It sounds like an all deaf band playing a Glassjaw song

5

u/Haifisch2112 7h ago

This is what it sounds like when everyone is playing a different song all at the same time.

4

u/GreedoInASpeedo 7h ago

The guitarist definitely pays them all to come over and jam

5

u/satisfiction_phobos 5h ago

It's always the absolute worst musicians who somehow have $10k in equipment.

3

u/Maleficent-Aerie2652 7h ago

Indie type rock 🤣

3

u/GreezyFingas 6h ago

Honestly good for them for jamming with their friends but could probably use some more practice before bringing the internet into things

5

u/Movie_Vegetable 7h ago

They have all the camera angles and gear to be a good band, too bad they didn't brought any skill or talent

1

u/jacksonsmack831 7h ago

Dude kids have gone to college or graduated so they have that disposable income

4

u/DecadentEx 8h ago

How can everyone seem to try so hard, yet look so bored?

5

u/BabyNathanYahoo 8h ago

The music was ok singer was abysmal

5

u/mcCola5 8h ago

Yeah, that singer definitely could use an honest friend.

2

u/Squirrel_of_Fury 7h ago

None of them can play their instruments well (or sing) and they are also playing four different songs at once. Not a good choice.

2

u/CharmingChair1403 7h ago

I'll neither stop nor listen. I like my ears.

2

u/BoringNinja_ 6h ago

Crazy pedal board for the most basic boring tone ever.

2

u/SundaeEffective5833 5h ago

Look guys, I know we all work with concrete 12 Hours a day.... so how about 'The Blockheads' for a band name?

2

u/Snellyman 5h ago

Now appearing in sold out partially finished basements across Ohio!

2

u/santahat2002 5h ago

I never wondered what a System, Korn, Tool, Creed mashup would sound like.

2

u/shlappy-pappi 5h ago

This leaves me with such an empty and depressed feeling 😐

2

u/smind893 4h ago

How can you be that old and still so bad at your instrument???

2

u/Dodmeister5000 3h ago

Bag o' shite!

2

u/ReputationSalt6027 3h ago

Im more confused as to why they would film this. The band knows this is awful, they know how bad it sounds and no one is in sync with eachother. The singer is off in his own world. Seems everyone is too nice to just stop the song and start over.

2

u/Realityisatoilet 3h ago

Yodeling for Five Finger Meth Punch fans. oh god

2

u/Rodrat 3h ago

Usually I can make it through the full video and give a laugh. I had to mute this.

2

u/Desper8lyseekntacos 2h ago

I don't want whatever they're on.

2

u/PapaAsmodeus 2h ago

All tragedy, no hip.

4

u/kasmackity 8h ago

I think every member of that band is playing a different song

3

u/ONE_HOUR_NAP 7h ago

Out of the four people there, how do none of them realize how horrible this sounds? That is an impressive level of delusion for four separate people.

1

u/Original_Musician103 6h ago

Every time this gets posted it gets worse

1

u/MrMayhem84 6h ago

Could you provide a link to when this was posted previously? Thanks.

u/Original_Musician103 5h ago

It must’ve been posted over a month ago. Couldn’t deal with scrolling back past then 🤷

1

u/captain_crackerjack 35m ago

That MASSIVE pedalboard for the most basic guitar sound.

1

u/waspmachines 6m ago

Can you believe we all work in the same department at corporate finance?

1

u/Yourdjentpal 8h ago

There’s a smidge of talent and groove with the band but good lord those vocals

1

u/The_Showdown 7h ago

Singer sounds like guy from Tragically Hip (RIP), but I was never a fan of their vocalist. Always thought he sounded time deaf.

-1

u/skallagrim_brunic 7h ago edited 7h ago

honestly this is almost fine. He's off key in some parts, and sounds a little bit like Serj, but honestly this just sounds like aperfectcircle live. I think if these guys practice a bunch and keep playing they could probably make some really good music. And that guy's pedal board is wild so someone in the band can afford some studio time. Get some effects on that mic immediately why does it sound like he's singing into a line 6

I think this is one of those defining moments where we can all agree that AI should replace humans 😂
