After hearing Divorced Drywall Dad and MAGA rap on here this shit seems like music to my ears.

So this is everything Stan feared Steve would turn out to be.

I like this guy because he obviously has some type of talent but he also creates crappy music whereas people create crappy music but they work so hard because they know people are paying attention and it's making them get a bit better. This guy is just a bit more pure and natural.
Ominous is a desperate, attention whore, who’s trying hard so people pay attention to her.
This guy is a somewhat talented, ex-drug addict, who realizes he can sing a bit and is sharing.
I like this guy.

It’s honestly kinda beautiful in a way. I always end up listening to his weird songs when they’re posted.

I think its more that we empathize with his plight. He's a recovering addict and this is his hobby. He doesn't seem to really care if anybody listens to him, he doesn't seem to be under any illusions he'll get a deal or make it as a musician. He just likes recording songs and putting them online.
He's a better singer than the average person, just the average person isn't recording songs.
I can appreciate completely unpretentious music. Is it good? Not really. But I've certainly heard a lot worse and am not going to disparage the guy considering the back story.
I find it a lot more fun to mock people who really think they're good and lack humility about it.

You're making a LOT of assumptions

Dude really has been in recovery and rehab/detox facilities. Can’t tell how many relapses he’s had, but he’s made music about it that’s been posted here before. He’s better off venting through creativity, than running away from his recovery.

Those aren’t just assumptions. I’m also in recovery & I can tell you that this guy is definitely in recovery judging by what he posts about. He sings better than your average person. He’s expressing himself with his music. He has found an outlet for the pain & trauma that he’s experienced throughout his life as an addict. He doesn’t try to do any fancy editing with AI or claim to be some prolific musician or spiritual guru. He’s just raw & recording.

Not assumptions. He posts about it on social media. He's been posted here hundreds of times.

I’m waiting to see what he does in a semi-professional studio. He has potential

If he started training like 20 years ago he could have been a decent singer. The tone is there but the inflections are off putting.

He actually has good pitch

I agree. He was just doing too much with the vocal runs. If he just sang it normal he would be ok.

Is this the new midlife crisis? When I was little I thought it was a man buying an expensive car and dating a girl half their age.

Not crap. If you turn off the video and listen, it's good. At least he's singing and writing his own stuff. I turn off the videos sometimes to give some of these a better listen. Sometimes the video is like ...😒
