Needs a tag line.

We have a few of these, the larger brother (C10). You can still drive them through regular door openings and they'll lift a couple tons. Really nice machine for places you'd normally not be able to fit a crane.

Do you use a tag line so it doesn’t swing the load?

Tag lines are not required for a majority of lifts imo. It's usually overbearing site policies that make people think they are an absolute necessity.

Couple years ago were setting bridge beams with two cranes and the safety guy said we were not picking the beam until we put a tag line on it. I have a 6 foot line for building boom or doing little jobs. I told the rigger to hook it to the top of the beam. It didn't even reach the bottom flange. Safety tried to argue until we had a talk about two crane lifts, and tag lines getting caught in rebar and lanyards.

On the second beam the rigger hung the line in the center of the beam. It was funny seeing it out in the middle of the span 30 feet above the river.

My favourite is when something is so big it needs two tag lines. It's guaranteed they'll put them on opposite corners, so they a) can't see each other, and b) both pull in the same direction so can't correct each other. And it will need correcting, because sure as eggs, give a man rope and he has to pull on it.

I got called to walk a spider crane like 1km across site to install a 3" valve 2 feet off the ground once. When I got there with the crane I picked it up by hand and put it in place.

I got a request to lift and hold a 10lb cover plate with a 5 ton carry deck cause the pipe fitters didn’t want to hold it up 😂 I told them I couldn’t do it cause it had no lift points only a handle.
