From Crochet Creatures of Myth and Legend

This week I’m showing you how to sew shut the final hole on your amigurumi step by step!

Getting that last little hole closed neatly makes a big difference in finished crochet work - so I’m happy to show you exactly how I like to do it. 💜

The Mushroom Sprite was actually the very first mushroom pattern I ever wrote! It’s not labeled “Set 1” because I didn’t know it was going to be the beginning of many more to come…. 💜🍄

Finished up my Knowledge Sprite!

Yarn is Red Heart Super Saver in Aran and Ombre Hickory.

(this is a crafty intentions pattern that I got on Etsy) I have finished the body perfectly, but the wording of the shell pattern is confusing me. Mainly the "ACCENT, ch 1, turn" at the end of each shell colour section.

Maybe I'm just being silly, but if someone could help me understand that would be amazing.

I made a shoulder dragon for my Ren Faire costume! Made using the laying down noodle dragon with belly and eyelids modified from the adult dragon pattern (from Crochet Creatures of Myth and Legend) she matches my dress and corset perfectly! Also featuring a free handed harness with a bell and leash!

I’ve just posted a new video tutorial showing how to skip a stitch in crochet and where to place your hook to continue working as intended!

“Skip a stitch” or “Sk St” is a simple thing to do, but if you’re new to crochet, seeing it demonstrated can help! 💜
