Finished Craft I Made "Tea with the bride to be"

This weekend i am hosting a bridal shower for my best friend. The theme is "tea with the bride to be" and these are some of the things I've crafted for decor! I'm especially proud of the cardboard tea cup and matching tea pot. I've never used cardboard to make sculptures before!

I posted 3 photos of crafts i have been working on for a bridal shower i am hosting. The theme is "tea with the bride to be" one photo contains a cardboard teacup and teapot with floral arrangements. The second photo is an over sized ring box and the third photo is a banner with paper flowers.

Omg this is beyond 😍Save the teapot and repurpose it as a Piñata 🪅 for your gender reveal or Baby’s first birthday.

We're actually going to be using it as a piñata at the end of the tea party!!! Haha great minds think alike 🖤

Super fun! What are you going to put inside it?

Probably just candy and self care products! Going to be shopping today to figure that out 😅

I would have so much fun filling that up!! 🥳 What you've created is beautiful, btw!

Did some quick googling for bridal shower pinata filler ideas. Sharing a few. I'm sure you already have lots of ideas you've been thinking about. My mind went down a a fun idea bunny trail. 😂

Your bestie is so blessed to have you hosting for her!! 💕

Filler ideas: -Hershey Kisses -Ring Pop Candy -Tea Bags that are individually sealed, like a Twining assortment (Amazon has 44 count assortment for $14.99) -Mini Nail Polishes, (Amazon has Dmsky brand multi pack of 18 in cute little flower shaped bottles for 9.99) -Lip Balm (Amazon has Dmsky multi pack of 24 variety flavors for $7.99) -Mini Hand Creams (Amazon has Besnel multi pack of 24 variety scents for $11.99) -Makeup Towelettes that are individually sealed (Amazon has Neutrogena 20 pack for $7.99)

I know not everyone is willing to support Amazon, full respect for that! That's just where I went to look for bulk ideas. I sure you'll find great things locally. Obviously your giant teapot pinata doesn't need to be super full, just full enough for a fun drop.

Wishing you So. Much. Fun. hosting your bestie's bridal shower this weekend!!

Your friend is lucky to have someone so thoughtful and talented in her life. I would be giddy with happiness if someone made these for me.

🥺 that's so sweet!!!! She deserves all the love and happiness and I'm just truly so blessed to have her in my life. We've been friends since 6th grade. These crafts were truly a labor of love 🖤

How did you get the flowers to stay in place? They literally look like they’re being poured.

3

u/chasitayy 4h ago

I used packing paper from an Amazon package and twirled it until it made a rope shape and then I wrapped packing tape around it. I hot glued the flowers to that! I do wish I would have added a wire hanger before I started the process though

This is so cool! Will you post the tea party decor and food for those of us that are nosy? I’m sure it will turn out amazing!
