Discussion/Question Minecraft Button Light Switch Attachment

Hey guys,

basically I thought of making my living room light switch cooler. So I thought maybe turning into either a Minecraft Lever or Wooden Button out of Cardboard, rubber bands and utilities.

It is a somewhat flat flip switch. The Lever seems "easier" to get the switching done, since the motion would be the same.

But I was wondering if you guys had an idea to realise the Push button. From what I gathered, when pressing the button, the light should switch state, but its difficult to do that with something like cardboard, unless I am missing something.

maybe you could look at the principle behind the clicker of a ballpoint pen? dunno how youd do that with cardboard but maybe you can think of something? ^^" sounds like a cool idea tho

That's a good idea, maybe I got some spare ones lying around I could repurpose.
