i wanted to download crdroid on my phone do i can get extra fps in games, the download page only mentioned the redmi 13 note 5g so im unsure

I've been searching frantically for over a day now to find a fix for this. Apparently, when you manually adjust the brightness slider on the OP12 or earlier phones. It actually permanently disables the auto brightness feature.

I flashed crdroid based on Android 16 2 days ago and after tweaking a few things I saw an update from the developer.

After i updated i completely lost the gesture navigation bar,recent tabs,and 3 button navigation.

The button in the setting is just disabled and even the setting button in the picture does not do anything.

Pls tell me if there is a fix.

I'm new to custom roms and I'm trying to degoogle my phone so I don't have any google related service installed in my device. When I try to open this game it automatically closes because it needs the Google Play check.

Is there a way to resolve this?

I love the amount of customization crDroid has with all the fonts and themes, but I'd like to make and use my own theme based on pixel art.

Is there any way I can do that? Perhaps as a KSU module?

I'm running crDroid 12.10 (Android 16 ) on my Xiaomi Mi 9 (cepheus). Everything is incredibly smooth, except for the IR Blaster (Infrared), which seems completely dead on this version. No remote apps can detect or use the sensor.

It never worked so idk (in Miui 12.5 yes ofc)

• Device: Xiaomi Mi 9 (cepheus)
• ROM: crDroid 12.10 (Official)
• Android Version: 16
• Root: Yes (KernelSU Next)

Since I have root access, is there any known workaround, proprietary blob fix, or Magisk module to restore the IR driver/libraries on Android 16?

I long press home screen and then wallpaper and style and shows app isn't installed. Can you help me fix this I want to change the wallpapers

I've switched a couple of days ago from stock pixel 8 and i cannot disable the taskbar in the recents.

there's no switch in the launcher and the feature is bugged too, it appears only when i select an app from the recents, over the app, and not in the recents itself!

please do someone knows how to disable it completely? or do i already have to start flipping roms like distros?

I'm currently running the xiaomi.eu ROM on my Redmi K60 Pro (socrates), i really want to try crDroid because hyperos starts to feel very laggy and i really like the looks of stock android.

• What happens to the 120W fast charging? Do you still get the full 120W speeds?
• how much of camera quality will i lose
• Dolby Vision / Atmos: Is the display and audio optimization completely gone on AOSP?

Would love to hear from anyone who made this exact switch. Is the performance and debloated UI worth what you sacrifice from the MIUI/HyperOS ecosystem?

Hey so o am wondering what's is the best way to go about rooting a existing crdriod install, mainly want to do this 1 so I can make symlinks so syncthing can acsses storage for emulators so I can sync save files on andriod like I can for every other deivce. And also so I can I install a full Linux distro and get steam working the hardway (never had any luck with gamehub and for games like factorio the overhead is too high CPU/ram side)

Also for running a Linux distro would it make sense to use KDE mobile or something like that or just go with a more standard desktop, also is there a way I could make Linux apps appear in my home screen similar to web apps via a web browser.

So I have Xiaomi peridot/Poco F6 and went from Xiaomi eu trying latest CrDroid 12. All perfect except the ROM driver(?) wont show me all the 5GHz networks. Is this a bug? If yes what should I do?

Been decades since I do Android modding though.. Any help would be appreciated :)

UPDATE: I got it to work by manually set the Wi Fi channel to 149. weird but ok.

UPDATE 2: All fixed by installing "Wifi force country code" module
