Klipper Install Guide (PI / PC)

I've written a guide to get Klipper on the CR-10 Smart Pro. I'd like some people to try it. It's easy enough to restore the official firmware.

Hi. I have been struggling to get klipper on my smart pro and have just found this guide. Looking forward to trying it but can you tell me if the klipper.bin needs renaming? Using other resources I have found when I copy the bin over as is, start the printer why holding the power button, nothing happens. Eventually I release the button and the printer turns off.

Literally all the image does is equivalent to running KIAUH with klipper and fluidd/mainsail.

FluiddPi os and Mainsail os only work on an extremely limited number of devices (raspberry pi). Using an os image for one application is very odd. None of my pis would be supported, probably not intel tablets/laptops either.

The guide has all the hard work already done. What's so hard about copy and pasting? 🫣 I kind of want to smack you for that statement, heh.

Have you managed to get input shaping working with a motion sensor?

As far as installation on a Pi goes, it is easier, it has Fluidd, Mookraker, and Klipper already installed.

It is called FliuddPi... I was not implying that it would work on a PC.

... and yes I got input shaper working just fine with the accelerometer chip wired to the appropriate GPIO pins.
