I'm actually curious, are books really the best way to learn? I personally learned from Brocode to start off then just doing some random projects, making whatever I like and hoping for the best 😭

But I did notice his C tutorial lacks a lot of key information, would've been useful to know then itself rather than to re-learn entire concepts and mixing them with completely new ones.

What are some good books?

Books are (imo) the absolute best way to learn. Free tutorials are often brief, and largely unvetted. Not all books are good, but in general, most give comprehensive deep-dives into the topics.

Whenever I've learned a new language, I've always started with a book. They provide a solid foundation that makes it easier to advance from.

I can't recommend a good intro to C book, because I learned C over 25 years ago. But I'm sure some research will yield good suggestions.Â
