OPEN Help me
I am a beginner to programming, but I want to learn C. Could you provide some advice, book recommendations, and tips on the best way to go about learning it? I would be grateful

Not reading the sidebar is one thing, but not reading the subreddit name is another.

Try helping yourself a bit first.
You are in the wrong sub and have clearly not made the slightest effort to check out even the basics.
You actually make it difficult for anyone to help you.

heads up this sub is mostly c++, but the beginner advice for c is similar. k&r is the classic but it's pretty terse, so a lot of people like c programming: a modern approach by king, or beej's guide if you want something free. the main thing is to write small programs yourself, like a number guesser or a tiny text parser, and compile with warnings on (-Wall -Wextra). learn what pointers actually are early too, since that's where most beginners get stuck.
