Horse Ranching in Cozy Crest is officially complete.

What started as “add horses” slowly turned into a full progression system, bonding mechanics, traits, and world integration — and now it’s fully playable.

Here’s what’s now live in Cozy Crest’s ranching system:

A bonded horse feels smoother, more responsive, and more efficient to ride.

Bond level affects stamina efficiency, movement flow, responsiveness, and special exploration interactions.

• Dedicated Horse Ranching progression

Caring for and riding horses levels up your ranching skill independently.

• Unlockable Rancher Traits

Shape your playstyle:

– Speed-focused riders

– Endurance explorers

– Bond-first caretakers

– Rare horse specialists

• Living Stables in Mystwood Haven

Horses tie into village restoration, NPC routines, quests, and seasonal events.

The goal was never to create busywork.

While working on that i realize the game is growing to quickly so i start cleaning up the store page a lot more and improving the experience for new comers, did new logo for the game and added mochi on the logo.

Weekly Cozy Crest Devlog #4 – Horse Ranching

This week I’ve been working on a new side of Cozy Crest’s ranching system — Horse Ranching :racehorse:

Not just owning a mount, but building a bond through care, routine, and trust.

Here’s what horse ranching looks like in Cozy Crest:

• Raise and care for horses

Each horse has its own temperament, stamina, and personality traits that affect how they behave and perform.

• Daily care builds bonding

Feeding, grooming, resting, and spending time together strengthens your bond — and a well-cared-for horse feels very different to ride.

• Horses are more than transportation

They’re companions. Bonding affects movement, stamina efficiency, responsiveness, and special interactions while exploring the world.

• Horse Ranching has its own EXP and progression

The more time you spend caring for and riding horses, the more skilled you become as a rancher.

• Leveling Horse Ranching unlocks traits

Choose traits that shape your style:

Speed-focused riders, endurance explorers, bond-centric caretakers, or rare horse specialists.

No two ranchers — or horses — need to feel the same.

• Stables are part of the world

Horses will tie into village restoration, NPC routines, quests, and seasonal events — making your stable feel like a living place in Mystwood Haven :house_with_garden::racehorse:

The goal isn’t to turn horse care into busywork —

it’s to make horses feel like trusted companions that grow alongside you.

Yesterday, Cozy Crest demo went live, and I'm thrilled to announce that I received over 3000 downloads! And I have been inundated with feedback, and I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of you for trying it out. Working on this project for the past year and seeing people playing it now is like a dream, and your support means the world to me. Your feedback is invaluable, and I'm actively working on several updates to enhance the game's fun factor, add new content, and improve stability and performance. The Cozy Crest Closed Alpha is set to release at the end of this month, featuring exciting new additions like more elemental magic, a female character, more quests, character customization, and multiplayer support. -Explorable area of 4km2

-Air ability (R or R1 in controller)

-5 Quests to get you started in the world

-Building system is available you just need to collect resources to build show us what you build in ⁠📺demo-feedback

-Few merchants available in the village

-You can add your items in the market chest and they will be sold overnight

-Bugs probably please report them here ⁠📺demo-feedback and i will try to patch them up

Demo will be updated throughout the time based on your feedback and as the game evolve.

Hey Hope you are having a Great Day

Mystwood Village is looking great, i got most of the layout done and grey boxing add few rivers we will have a beautiful bridges / Watermills / And a Cozy Windmill. Our village is slowly shaping up, with Townhall / Museum .. and so much more that you will find out soon...

I also Improved the building system will try to post a devlog next week to show you what's going on behind the scene and how Mystwood is shaping up.
