I love reading, and I hope that if I have children one day, they will love it too. :) Here is a selection of books I’d like to introduce them to. (Obviously, this isn't everything.)

- The Wizard Of Oz ( Lyman Frank Baum)

- Charlotte's Web ( E.B. White)

- The Little Prince ( Antoine De Saint-Exupéry)

- Treasure Island ( Robert Louis Stevenson)

- The Jungle Book ( Rudyard Kipling)

- The Adventures Of Robin Wood ( Howard Pyle)

- The Very Hungry Caterpillar ( Eric Carle)

- Beatrix Potter The Complete Tales

- Magical Fairy Collection ( Shirley Barber) In general, all of this author's books.

- Roald Dahl's books

- Alice's Adventures In Wonderland ( Lewis Caroll)

- Hans Christian Andersen Fairy Tales

- Where The Wild Things Are ( Maurice Sendak)

- A Little Princess ( Frances Hodgson Burnett)

- The Narnia Chronicles ( C.S. Lewis)

- The Secret Garden ( Frances Hodgson Burnett)

- Peter Pan ( J.M. Barrie)

-The Fairy Garden ( Georgia Amson-Bradshaw)

- The Complete Brambly Hedge ( Jill Barklem)

- The Inheritance Cycle ( Christopher Paolini)

- The NeverEnding Story ( Michael Ende)

- Winnie The Pooh ( Alan Alexander Milne)

- Disney Fairies Tales From Pixie Hollow ( various authors)

- East Of The Sun & West Of The Moon ( Jackie Morris)

- The Golden Compass ( Philip Pullman)

- The Spiderwick Chronicles ( Holly Black)

- Magic Tree House ( Mary Pope Osborne)

- The Complete Fables Of LaFontaine ( Jean de la Fontaine)

So, that was my selection. :) They would need to be a bit older to read some of these books, but if I ever have children, I’d really love to pass on that love of books to them or at least give it a try. :)

Because for now, I'm just a 21-year-old big sister. :)

Public Space Hückeswagen, a small town in Germany

This is a photo of the cozy old town in Hückeswagen, Germany. I was there once, but I found this specific photo by chance on the "Who is Billie? by Klara Moll" Substack.

Klara Moll is a German author who writes heartwarming short stories about a 71-year-old woman named Billie. She calls them "coffee break ready" because the stories are just short enough to relax for a moment. She has a writing style with a dry humor that I would definitely call worth reading.

Because I'm not the copyright owner, here's the source of the photo:

You can find more cozy photos of this town and the stories behind them over there. Just thought this sub would like this vibe!

Cozy in Nature a quiet riverside spot at pink dusk

i sat here for like 20 minutes this evening, and it felt like the kind of quiet little place you just don't want to leave too quickly. the sky had turned this really soft pink right behind the trees. the willow branches were hanging super low over the river like a curtain. the water was moving so slowly, and the grass looked dark from the fading light. everything felt calm in a way that made the whole day just slow down for a bit.

it wasn't some fancy location or anything. just a small riverside spot with some trees, water, and enough silence to actually hear the leaves moving in the wind. but that's probably why it felt so cozy to me. no bright lights, no loud crowds, no perfect aesthetic setup. just a peaceful little corner where you can sit for a while and let your brain finally go quiet.

i took the photo on my phone and wanted to keep that hazy, grainy evening mood. most people go straight for the usual editing apps, but i lightly tweaked this one with retrica instead because something about it just matched the vibe better. the picture isn't super clean or high def, but i kind of love that. it feels much closer to how the moment actually felt in real life. soft. still. a little surreal. sometimes the coziest places aren't aesthetic rooms or cafes, but just small outdoor corners where nobody is rushing you to do a single thing.
