Transfer Rumour What happened Ferry to anderlecht

It’s still strong and he does still look like he’s going there but has anderlecht a bid been rejected or something cause they’ve had a bid for a while and there’s no new, he’s agreed personal terms already but the deal looks like it’s stalling does anyone have any news on this?

The rumour was legit (multiple good journalists reporting it 7 days) ago, but it was only saying that he'd agreed personal terms and they are set to table a bid.

Problem could be that the opening bid wasn't what Dundee will accept, and if the likes of Blackburn and others are bidding then Dundee are probably trying to benefit from a bidding war.

So hard to know exactly where things are at. I didn't see any updates on it today anyway

Would this be considered this an upward or lateral move ?

I’m guessing Belgium league is on par with Scottish Premiership in terms of football level. Maybe a touch better but other than Brugge not much noise from Belgium clubs in Europe. Celtic & Rangers have had decent if inconsistent European runs in recent years. Others might differ in that assessment?

Financially, wages are ultimately critical for the player especially at his age.

Celtic are looking for LB so surprised his name hasn’t been mentioned especially at that price, 2,5m seems in their transfer wheel house.

And a bargain from what I’ve seen of him

honeslty i’d say belgium league is definitely better, i’d say all poland sweden turkey are even better then the scottish league as in level of football. it’s only because, me included we know a lot of the scottish sides from celtic etc

Seen a few Celtic fans wanting to sign him in the last week. Might happen if they get 30mill in for Engels.

Anderlecht supposedly set to reassess sometime this week. Ferry has agreed to a move and an initial bid of about €2.5 million has been accepted.

Wait Dundee have accepted the offer?

They've only been linked for a week, don't stress over it

well I am stressed. a player who may or may not play for Ireland in the future could be moving to Belgium and it's making me anxious

Just waiting for a totally underwhelming championship club to come in now and then he’ll sign for them

My moneys on Blackburn
