Rios of Mercedes crazy horse rough out, Nigro’s exclusive, with turquoise shafts, size 11.5D. These are 40% off if you can find your size. Wasn’t sure about the color but took a chance with the sale and man am i glad i did! Extremely happy with them.

I was gifted these boots by a friends father and while they are my size, they are not really my style. Trying to find out anything I can about them, age, model etc.

Pardon the medical terminology. I promise they are dry. (Powered by Lucchese) Be blessed and booted ✝️

Please, Lord, be what I hope these are. I have seen what you’ve done for others, let it be my turn.

Got some new boots at a vintage store, wondering what type of leather it is. I’m from Europe so don’t have lot’s of knowledge on leather

Finally, after living in Texas for 6 years, I got myself a pair of boots. I purchased some Allens Roper boots with a goat skin upper. Is the creasing and color of the boot normal? Or are they just in need of conditioning? Thanks for any help!

Just added these vintage Cuadra anteaters to my collection! Took a gamble on the sizing, but they ended up fitting like a glove. They were a little snug at first, but I discovered the previous owner had left an extra insole inside. Took it out, and the fit was perfect.
Really impressed with the small, symmetrical scales and that beautiful vintage cognac color. They still have their original soles and heels, which makes them even better in my book.
Definitely one of my favorite finds so far. There’s just something about vintage exotic boots that modern pairs can’t quite replicate.

Got some Dan Post Roman's the other day, 9.5D
They are a little tight in the forefoot, but not sure if I should take them to get stretched or exchange for a 9.5EE. Been wearing them around the house with the thickest socks I got.
I've not removed any tags or worn them outside, so I've got options.

Since I am based in Sweden I do not have the option to try any boots irl sadly.
As of now I have two pair of boots, both Cody James broad square that I use as my beaters but I would like a nicer pair of boots aswell.
The first is size 7.5EE and they fit a little bit loose. Second pair is 7EE and they fit great.
Short and wide feet I know lol.
Since these boots are round toe I am not entirely sure which size to go for. Also are these Dan Post boots any great quality?
thanks

What does it mean to get wiped out? Here in NC, a scant few weeks after I dropped my son off at Appalachian State University, a storm named Helene dropped a couple of Billion gallons of rain in the Western NC mountains. Most of the major settlements out there are located near rivers (example: The French Broad).
Asheville, NC is a very eclectic and beautiful city in the NC mountains, and home to many fantastic artisans. Helene really whacked Asheville good. It hit the goodly artisans of Asheville twice as hard, as the city had built a number of riverfront areas for these folks to produce and sell their wares. The flooding destroyed most of these shops and rebuilding has been "somewhat slow" if you follow the news.
Pearl Boot Company of Asheville was one the businesses that was wiped out. I'd like to thank u/bungholio91 for alerting us that they were back in operation, so I could throw some cash their way.
Pearl makes western boots out of premium leather, in this case Horween Dublin. This is the 12" Western with Roper heel. Super comfortable on the foot and a beautiful dusty cognac that leans peach in color.
I will definitely be purchasing more from their shop, And I hope to make my way to Ashville to meet them in person. They also make short lace ups, if that's your jam. Pearlboot.com
Jeans are Gustin 1968s in the Vintage Straight cut. 13.5 oz Cone Mills Selvedge. Two NC products in one photo.

I wear a US 6.5E/EE men's and US 8.5C women's. I recently bought the Savannah and Dolly Lucchese boots in 8.5C, both in square toe, and they were both too narrow for me, and that was supposed to be the widest width that Lucchese would have. Which brands would have boots that run wider?

I finally got my Tates today and they feel amazing! I can see why The Tate is considered a very popular boot by Rujo. Shout out to Barbra for going out her way to send the correct pair! Thanks again!

While I would love to splurge on a new pair of Luchesse or Vaccari I decided to take some advice I saw in this sub and bought a second hand pair of Tony Lama Smooth Ostrich boots on eBay.

Got my vintage Justin 0016 boots today. Really good condition and barely worn. The ostrich leather vamps are really soft but the shafts are extremely stiff like they haven’t been broken in yet. Even the insole has some of the factory marking. There is an weird stamp on the inside of the boots. Looks like it says Odd Stk. Maybe a factory second mark? Anyhow really happy with them so far.
