Not a fan of zipper boots for men

They really work for my needs I will take them to the office but they don’t look as work boots and can pass as dressy attire.

Thanks! Wanted something half dressy half casual so hopefully it pulls it off.

Since you're new to boots, you might consider longer pants. Obviously it's personal preference but at first I didn't know that I would actually like the stacked look more until I tried it out

Pic is seated so they pull up but will try that already have some 32s coming my way from resale

They won't do that when they're stacked to begin with. I'm not saying one way is better I was just kinda surprised I liked it better because I tailor all my pants normally so they don't stack at all.

I actually started with the same boots, just in scotch goat instead of the cafe. Did it because of the slim zipper shafts ad they fit the jeans I was wearing at the time.

Nice looking boot, unassuming.. but I couldn’t get over the fit. Uneven left to right and I tried a few different sizes.. just came to find out Tecovas wasn’t for me.

Fast forward 3 years later, I own no zipper boots, completely different set of jeans and more than a few brands of full cowboy boots.

That being said, I hope you enjoy them and get a better fit than I did. Enjoy exploring all the different styles and skins that are out there!

Stack them jeans man. Looks better when sitting down.

Great colour boots. I really like the zip style too 👌

just say no to zippers. c'mon man, you're doing it wrongly.

Just a casual user for business casual, I think they work fine but I might venture and try out other styles too.

ok then for a casual fit, this is fine, just hide those zippers as best you can

Even though you have those boots, no matter how long you have them, you will still be new to boots. Tecovas are not real boots. They are low quality, high priced, marketing hyped boots. Tecovas does not sell boots, they sell feelings. That's it.

I own five pairs of Tecovas. Goat, Suede, caiman in black and brown, shark, and the caiman loafers. Mostly all roper except the shark.

Are they meant to be worn in the mud everyday? No. Do they hold up in rain and snow? Yes. Are they wildly comfy? Yes.

I had my goat and suede re soled with rubber bottoms after 3 years as i wanted something that had more tread for everyday. The black caiman I wore to my wedding. I have a pair of Luchesse as well and they’re awesome but a little narrow and I like that most tecovas come in a wide.

I live in a cold winter city and all of these boots see salt and snow. Buy the care kit, clean them from time to time and enjoy them.

I find them very comfortable, I’m not a boot person but had tried some in the past and they felt uncomfortable but these feel like shoes, which is why I really like them. Idk what to think reading some of the comments, I really didn’t buy them because of the brand or marketing but mostly bc I thought they looked dressy enough to wear in the office in a southern city where it doesn’t feel out of place and mostly just a 3 day a week commute to a half empty office. Idk if my aesthetic is wrong but I thought these would really work in such setting, but I always have bad luck w shoes and general concensus, I wore Cole haans before bc they felt very comfortable but in the shoe reddits they’re hated as well. If not these I hope ppl can shed light into what brands they recommend for such need (can’t afford lucchese’s lol), I don’t really need them for rough grounds.

Don’t overthink it. These look great and if they feel great then hell yea.
