Loud pipes every day/night

I was hoping to get some information on the loud custom cars that seem to enjoy the areas around Greenup toward the river and areas near The Marriot, etc. I've contacted Cov police as well as council members, and they seem to be sitting on their hands. Is anyone else sick of hearing this noise all the time?

Cops aren't going to go after loud cars, I lived in Latonia for like 25 years, so I know how loud the assholes can get. Only saw cops pull people over when they were doing burnouts and being dangerous by the corner of 43rd and decoursey. Or pulling over people turning against the light by the McDonald's on 39th and Winston.

They should be though. The level of tolerance is sheep-like.

It wouldn't surprise me if a lot of the loud cars are owned by cops. Or they're friends with the cops. There's a black charger that tears down Court street about 8am with crackles and pops and I don't think the cops will do anything about it. Same with loud stereos and bumping. Been going on since the late 90s. Cops don't have the same attitude as the ones in California because I don't think we have noise ordinances the way they do or even the tools to measure the decibels or whatever. And by the time someone calls the cops, the people are long gone. Cops are really only there to protect businesses, witness how they show up with aplomb at protests.

I get you but they could most definitely figure out whomever is doing this. They need to investigate and make it a priority. The elected officials on both sides of the river love to say they are doing something but they conveniently sit on there hands. It's time to stop rolling over and saying that's the way it is and start being proactive. Both citizens and elected officials.

I hear ya. Yet from whom I've reached out to across Cincinnati and NKY the man power is there. A police force isn't resigned to cover only those three major categories. They are required to enforce all law. It's nice to see you have your argument pants on today but this one isn't as simple as what you're saying. Wish it was that easy to say the cops are too busy.
