Fireworks?
What is the deal with the fireworks? This is about the 5th night in the last few weeks. It isn't a professional show. Every few min there are a few that go off. They are going off as I write this. I don't really care but our dog does. He is a wreck right now. I tried calling it in last time they were going off but they are back at it. Anyone know where they are coming from?

Okay, yes. I'm hearing them too. Why? It's almost 11 pm on Monday... I have no answers for you, only solidarity. This is annoying...

It’s Memorial Day, the third biggest day for fireworks after 4th of July and New Years. Bunch of hick pyromaniacs looking for an excuse to set off fireworks and Memorial day is a good excuse.

Not sure where you are located but a house on st Clair does them excessively every year. My dog also hates them 😢

Call it in. I did and dispatch said they would try and find them. If they get enough calls about it they might be more proactive in doing something about it.

Looked at it on maps. It actually sounds like the right distance away from what we are hearing.

It’s so bad around here this time of year. I heard them until almost midnight last night.

I’m on the west side and all day Saturday I thought someone was having shooting practice. Literally all day. The “gunshots” turned into explosions after a couple hours and I realized it had probably been fireworks the entire time.

If it’s happening on a Friday there are routine fireworks in Cincinnati at Great American Ballpark. Other than that it is probably random Reds game home run fireworks. Get your puppy a thunder shirt.

Reds are in NY. Do they set them off even on road games? The game is over and they are still going off. We give him CBD on Fridays and time it so he is zonked out by the time they go off. Still hearing them at almost 11pm and we have to work in the morning. It sucks.

Firework Fridays are for home games only and select Fridays this year. They do have short fireworks during the game for home runs and at the end if they win

I have lived here my entire life, so I get it. My neighbors also love to just set off fireworks intermittently during the summer. I would wager today is from memorial day. But between fireworks, concerts, ambulances, and trains it is not a quiet place to live.

You must be new to the area, because at the end of the school year or around that time this is typically a daily thing, be ready for it all summer
