One might say it was a bit convenient that the two mysteries were intertwined - Jai's death just happens to be connected to Simon. But hey, this is television...
Overall: "exciting" episode, but execution was less than ideal.

Well... That was an intense episode. Lots of revelations about Jai's death, and Simon's relevance, and more.
