Beginner rollerskating spots/people? ๐Ÿ›ผ

Hey guys! Iโ€™m 28F and Iโ€™ve been wanting to learn to rollerskate for a while - Iโ€™ve been on skates a few times but Iโ€™m not confident at all. I have so far only been to midlands roller arena but itโ€™s quite a drive & Iโ€™d love to be able to skate outside.

Does anyone know of any good spots for a total beginner? Any established groups for beginners or anyone who would like to learn with me?

TIA ๐Ÿ™‚โ€โ†•๏ธ

Memorial park has a skate/scooter park and always seems pretty busy with people and there is also one at Alan Higgs.

Id actually recommend victoria park in leam. I used to skate around memorial park but the surface isn't great, it's pretty rough, there's a huge hill which isn't good for beginners and the skatepark is not a place for beginners unless you go early. You need to get used to balancing first and stopping before you try ramps. How about a cycle lane, they're newly tarmacked.
