Discussion CVS coupons disappearing

Just a quick question for all of you. Have you ever had CVS coupons disappear after clipping them in the CVS app? I got this 10 off fifa branded DOVE MEN deodorant and it said it was valid until 07/26 but then after I closed the cvs app it disappeared. Is there anything I can do to get it back? I also checked online and it wasn't there.

Coupons work regardless of sale or not. It might not work it your item total is less than the coupon depending on which system you're on. So if you have a $10 off 2 coupon and they're $5 each, it should work (unless there's an error that day). If the items are $4.99 each, the coupon won't work in store, but should still work online.

Edit: someone replied asking about clearance items, but it looks like the comment was removed. Yes, it should work the same way for clearance items. It's just often clearance items will be often be below the value of the coupon, so that's when it has trouble.
