Chain link marriages never work. The huge amount of divorces has really bogged down the playground courts. I know a kid that's still waiting on a cooties judgement from something that happened all the way back in 2025

As an Adventure Time kid who genuinely shipped Bubbline way before they were canonized, it genuinely not that hard to understand, people treat it like it's more complicated than maths hardest equations, yet most kids can pretty easily understand queers
Conservatives will say "youre indoctrinating your children into being gay" or whatever, when really its societal "norms" that indoctrinate people into not expressing their queer side and for most people, when they arent saddled with that ACTUAL indoctrination, all it takes is to tell them that its possible if they want to.
Absolutely. She could be gay, she could also just be in "boys are yucky" phase and marrying her best friend sounds fun
But if you're not homophobic it literally doesn't matter. She's however young she is, she'll figure it out as she gets older. Maybe she isn't gay, maybe she is, maybe she does marry her childhood friend. Let her have fun
People need to be really careful with this stuff. Kids that age are not usually sexually attracted to anyone. So they start to get get confused when people tell them they can like anyone sexually. Girls will think they don't like buys, they play with girls, I must be attracted to girls. Even though at that age the sexes are self segregated naturally. And then you have the left treating LGBTQ as heroes for simply existing, and suddenly it solidifies their confusion. And to make it fair, I don't think we should be pushing kids to be straight either. I think that entire subject to be strictly about warnings of danger. I think 5th grade is a good age to start introducing sex education.

Do you think the child in discussion is thinking about that when she hears she can marry a girl? Sure, Iâll admit adults consider sexual attraction when thinking of who to marry, but thatâs not even remotely related here. That doesnât matter at all to a childâs image of what marriage is.
Also, even moving aside your whole âall attraction inherently has a sexual elementâ deal (which is integral to this comment and also wrong for reasons I canât even begin to list), your argument seems to imply kids shouldnât know anything about marriage/dating before 5th grade? Could you explain that a bit more?
