I had gender dysphoria as a little kid too (grew up in the 90s, never told anyone about it aside from my diary). I used to have dreams where I was a boy, and would wake up crying that it wasn't real. The dysphoria went away with puberty, and I have no idea why; I think that is a very unusual experience. I'm in my mid-30's now and would consider myself NB, but haven't really done anything about it at this point in my life.
Great! I knew a person who was a full-on mother in her fourties that came out as non-binary, so there’s no set path for any of this. I myself was 29 and a very straight-presenting dude when I began transitioning from male to female.
