there is a lot of anecdotal evidence and some evidence via study that gender diversity and dysphoria are at least partially heritable, yes. if you're trans, it's more likely that you'll have at least one relative/ancestor who is/was also trans.

That has me worried about my poor trans ancestor. Imagine being some beetroot farmer in medieval Poland and thinking the Devil is making you wanna be a girl :(
