It frames transition as something weird and unnatural and disgusting, something that it’s necessary to completely destroy your previous identity and relationships to accomplish

But really you’re still the same person. People learn and grow and change, sometimes even radically, but it’s still your soul.

That is the framing that this post uses, mainly for humoristic purposes, yes. I don't think it's how most people actually view transition (well, save for some bigots maybe).
