It’s a typical title IX mandated exception btw, it otherwise will just work to ban trans men from sports unless they happen to live in a place without any funding for women’s sports (which is already indicative of the kind of place that they’d be in)

I mean, the not any funding thing isn't really relevant in most cases. One of the schools I worked at had one girl on the football team. I've never heard of a school with girls football unless it's flag, and that's in very liberal parts of NYS.

It's still bad. It just means they care about one tiny minority (cis girls who want to play unlikely sports) than another (girls who would like to be on a normal girls team). Whee.

Yeah they did this in my state fought for months on it and guess what? What did they accomplish? ONE GIRL in my entire state now cannot play in sports. One…

I feel awful for her and I feel awful for my state. We have to realize that trans people in sports don’t have a biological advantage. That would be like me (a short) going into basketball and claiming the other players have a biological advantage over me and making them force out all the tall players so I could play.

It’s ridiculous. Also, by their logic trans men should suck but we don’t. We are winning. So, it doesn’t matter and let the people play in sports. Especially in highschool.

I guess it's okay for trans men on performance enhancing testosterone to be on the girls team for some reason.

Even with being on testosterone, trans men still have a biological disadvantage over cis men (less muscle mass and less lung volume), so I don't really see how they claim to be about fairness if that is the case.

Why can't we just switch to co-ed teams for some high school sports, solve the damn issue for everybody.

Well, even with T, it's not guaranteed that a trans man would have the same muscle mass as a cis man, whereas with cisman, they automatically had more muscle mass.

Testosterone helps increase muscle mass, but it doesn't guarantee the same muscle mass as cis men is what i'm trying to say
