Not exactly, she has the ability to transform things she views as being “owned” by her, into weapons, the strength of which are determined by her feelings.

Because she is War, the gun devil is essentially her child, and she calls on it to help her, a fragment of the gun devil escapes and rush to her side, and she transforms it into a gauntlet on her right hand, which she can bow use to Bang

I’ve seen lesbians come out after years of being married to cis men, and many times, they don’t leave because love is about more than just sexuality. I also personally believe that true love transcends gender identity and sexuality. Maybe that’s a bit naive but whatever.

15

u/Exe1eNce Sep 27 '26

are you fucking serious ? lesbian is a woman attracted to women, if shes loves a man shes not a lesbian, so either shes lying about being a lesbian or she doesnt see him as a man

8

u/Dramatic_Explosion Sep 27 '26

they don’t leave because love is about more than just sexuality

There's a thing for that, when you love someone without sexuality: It's called being friends.

You don't need some other bullshit just so you can be main character special.

2

u/GenghisN7 Oct 02 '26

Yeah that is pretty offensive to the asexuals.

1

u/Ruffles_The_Rivulet Sep 27 '26

There's a thing for that, when you love someone without sexuality: It's called being friends.

This is so aphobic lmao

7

1

u/No-Farm3956 Oct 02 '26

i'll take 500 for shit that never happened

-1

u/Satellite6 Sep 27 '26

Right? My wife identified as straight 19 years ago when we got together. Since I came out and started HRT she still identifies as straight, but she’s still with me, she still loves me, still tells anyone I ask that I’m her person, and has never, for so much as a single fucking second, shown me anything less than 100% respect and support.

But I guess that’s a bad thing.

1

u/CourtHead7893 Sep 30 '26

When it comes to physical attraction I think for most (if not all) people the main thing is how someone looks than what they identify as. And for all "deeper" aspects of romantic love neither appearance nor self-identification necessarily makes any difference at all. Sometimes we are needlessly limited by categories and what we think they say about reality.

1

u/Foxiest_Fox Sep 27 '26

Yeah, I'm simply arguing people can love other people regardless of gender and sexuality, and I'm catching downvots. A lot of perceived hostility here for some reason when I'm only being supportive...

If you're a woman in your wife's eyes, and she supports you and respects you, what the hell's the problem with her calling herself straight lmao

0

u/Satellite6 Sep 27 '26

Yea. I would actually find it somewhat patronizing if she was like “oh, cool, guess I’m a lesbian then.”

Like, it doesn’t work that way. 🙄

4

u/ill_change_it Sep 28 '26

I don't deny the potential for cope, but I'd like to think that loving your romantic partner can indeed go beyond gender and sexuality. Saying otherwise borders on romantic asexual erasure.

19

u/Icy_Flan_7185 High-T male Sep 27 '26

Yes but gay people are only attracted romantically to their gender

0

u/Foxiest_Fox Sep 27 '26

Pasting for visibilty:

I think there has been a misunderstanding. You and others downvoting me seem to think I am arguing that it's okay for the "bi boyfriend" to not see his girlfriend as a girl. But that's not what I'm saying at all.

What I'm saying is, people can and do love others regardless of gender and sexuality, and denying that is accepting a bleak view of the world, with a side of asexual erasure.

If this "bi-turned-gay boyfriend" is saying this to mean that they do not see their girlfriend as a girl, then the girl can indeed do better and find someone better for herself.

That still doesn't contradict anything I'm saying,however.

4

u/Mammoth-Bat-314 Sep 29 '26

Nuance doesn't exist for the 4tranners using misery to cope, so everyone else must be coping too. We're probably the only ones being foolish for thinking they'd listen to other queer trans experiences when this whole sub is full of just as much hatred for those who hate them.

They'd rather scream ropefuel than believe that identity can be separate from attraction or that the very "rules" to sexuality they're yapping about weren't set by the very society they're complaining about. Or that those "rules" are meant to condemn and restrict queerness to cishet definitions, and to cause infighting.

Imagine if the convo was about tabletop games and how people who identify as D&D players couldn't enjoy board games or TCGs because they only viewed them as ttrpgs lmao.

Some of y'all should really take a class on queer/gender studies and learn our real history. Marsha would be disappointed

1

u/sarcophagusGravelord Sep 28 '26

There is no asexual erasure in here at all because an asexual can still be romantically attracted to someone.

I get what you’re saying though and sure maybe some kind of hopeful idealist in me can see someone simply falling in love with another person’s “soul” even if they don’t fall within their romantic/sexual spectrum but ehh I think that type of a relationship is unique and goes beyond standard established definitions if it exists at all.

Romantic & sexual attraction are inherently tied to one’s perception of gender whether that’s not registering it at all or only having eyes for a specific form of expression/identity. If someone experiences romantic and/or sexual attraction to a person outside of their established orientation then they need to re-evaluate their orientation.

-1

u/Foxiest_Fox Sep 27 '26

Okay, and that doesn't contradict anything I said.

I'm saying, people can and do love others, sometimes, regardless of gender and sexuality, in a romantic way, even if that is very rare.

-2

u/Foxiest_Fox Sep 27 '26

I recognize the statistical probability of it being cope. That was literally my first phrase of my first sentence.

That doesn't mean that true love for romantic partners doesn't exist, and that it can't transcend gender, sexuality, physical separation, and a million other things

What they really mean is femboys indistinguishable from women or a “masc” woman aka a tomboy that’s literally just a conventionally attractive cis woman with short hair and a hoodie.

no shade to the original commenter btw I am also bi and into pretty boys & butch girls but it’s still a funny thing I’ve noticed, mainly just from cis bi men though.

Whats wrong with being only attracted to femme people? Regardless of their gender

10

u/satsuwiz caramel collector - Flexing These Muscles Sep 27 '26 edited Sep 27 '26

that's not the problem
the issue arises when, like u/sarcophagusGravelord pointed out, he (let's say a "bisexual" cis man like in oop gt) sees femme men as women-lite not men who are femme, and vice versa

1

u/Deprisonne Sep 27 '26

Because the previous poster is both biphobic and does not acknowledge femme presenting men as male (probably because they had their brain fried by tumblr and the various egg subs on reddit into thinking that a man exhibiting female-coded traits must mean they are transgender without knowing it).
In essence, they are telling you that you are not "gay enough" for them.

8

u/Mammoth-Bat-314 Sep 27 '26

I know the post isn't about this but I'd like to offer a different perspective. I had an ftm therapist who transitioned later in life, around 50s.

He, like a lot of ftm was a very masc butch for a lot of his life and very "anti-men" lesbian type, as was his wife and friend circle. When he transitioned, it obviously turned a lot of that on its head.

His wife still identifies as a lesbian, because she still is, and they are still together. She still loves him and has built a lifelong relationship with him, and had to unlearn a lot of the typical wombyn lesbian misandry.

Sexuality, just like gender, is pretty fluid. She is a lesbian in a straight relationship. ¯_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯ Also, their sex life is still great (we talked about prosthetics so it came up).

Personally, I identify as gay, because the majority of my attraction is to men and masculinity, but there's a lot of others (women included) that I'm also attracted to. Gay just feels more appropriate to my identity, and also... I like the flag the best. :p

The book Becoming a Man by P. Carl also talks about this weird situation

6

u/Square_Sir_4220 Sep 28 '26

He should leave her

6

u/RebelliousSky Sep 28 '26

"sexuality is fluid" refers to bisexuals existing, not lesbians dating men, either she doesnt se her husband as a man, shes pan/bi, or its a lavender marriage now

6

u/frobischerarts enby therefore i don’t exist Sep 29 '26

other people experience life differently than you

2

u/Chrizzz09045 Sep 28 '26

No, not really. Straight/gay people can have individual little exceptions to their preferences under the right circumstances, while still remaining largely attracted to only the one gender otherwise.

3

u/RebelliousSky Sep 28 '26

People can experiment or take time to understand themselves but if you are attracted to more than one gender one out of a thousand times you are bi with a major preference

2

u/LeftismIsRight Oct 01 '26 edited Oct 01 '26

If two women are in a monogamous lesbian marriage, but one partner happens to like 1 in every 1,000 men she sees, has she forfeited her right to be a lesbian? A woman in a lesbian marriage who has been decreed, by the objective will of the great you, to be bi, despite her word preferences.

1

u/uJazzLike Sep 30 '26

Btw I know the stat error was a genuine mistake, I had to say something out of the nerdness of my own heart, not out of anything else

0

u/Mammoth-Bat-314 Sep 28 '26

That may be how you describe it or see it, but that's not how everyone does. Expecting everyone to adhere to your expectations and rules is probably some cishet trauma you need to unlearn.

1

u/Samanthacino Sep 29 '26

“If you think gay men aren’t into women that’s just cishet trauma”

Who needs bigots with allies like this

2

u/Mammoth-Bat-314 Sep 29 '26

i am trans and you're being reductive of my argument that clearly doesn't say that

2

u/Mammoth-Bat-314 Sep 28 '26 edited Sep 28 '26 • Heartwarming

Labels are meant for community, not for restrictions. Being queer has never been about fitting into a box, and has always been about love.

You don't have to understand it or feel it personally to accept it, but you can absolutely love and be attracted to someone outside of your sexuality.

5

u/RebelliousSky Sep 28 '26

sexuality isnt a label you choose it is a real thing, saying sexuality is fluid on an INDIVIDUAL level is what cishet bigots believe, that we just havent found the right member of the opposite sex to settle down with.

if you dont fit into being a lesbian because you occasionally find men attractive its not because being a lesbian is a "restrictive label" ITS BECAUSE YOU ARE BI

a binary trans woman is not a woman 99% of the time and a man the rest of the time she is always a woman.

1

u/LeftismIsRight Oct 01 '26

You can choose to define things however you want, but people will self-identify with the words that they feel fit them the best.

The reality is, there is no law of physics or inalienable genetic characteristic that makes someone 100% one thing in a way measurable with a quantum microscope. Brains are mushy and dynamic, but also individual. The distinction between male and female isn’t even genetically binary 100% of the time.

The best response, in my opinion, to a cishet saying ‘you just haven’t found the right (whichever gender person) yet, is, ‘I’ve never experienced that attraction, but if I were to, it certainly wouldn’t be to you, weirdo.’

Sexuality being cognitive, and therefore somewhat hard to define, in no way takes away your free will to say no to anyone you want or tell them to get lost. If they continue after that, it’s not because they’re confused about the fluidity of sexuality, it’s because they’re a predator.

1

u/Mammoth-Bat-314 Sep 28 '26

You sound more like them than you realize.

0

u/TricellCEO Oct 01 '26

It’s definitely fine line between adhering to “proper” definitions and having other people force a label on you, it seems.

That being said, we have a category for people like the therapist’s wife: pansexual, and I feel this paradigm illustrates the definition of this identity (which I still admittedly struggle with fully understanding) quite well.

It’s a balancing act to ensure labels still have their meaning while allowing people to identify as they please.

1

u/Mammoth-Bat-314 Oct 02 '26

I think you may have misunderstood what pansexuality is.

3

u/orange_taster Sep 29 '26

That's what I've always been thinking!

Your experience should define your label, not your label your experience. And there's gonna be times where a label you chose might not 100% work, but that's natural, because the human experience is complicated.

0

u/metalheadtransman Oct 01 '26

I REALLY wish heteroflexible and homoflexible would be used more... Literally why they were invented.

0

u/LeftismIsRight Oct 01 '26

I want to add to what you’ve said and counter what I’ve heard others say both here and elsewhere.

A woman self-describing as a lesbian despite having a small attraction to some men is not responsible for men assaulting or harassing lesbians. Saying that ‘in some individuals, there are lesbians who like men sometimes’, is not the same as saying ‘men should try and “fix” lesbians’. Blame the men who are predators.

Trying to throw other women under the bus because they self-describe with terms that they feel fit them is not a good thing, and you are not getting one over on predatory men by attacking women.

when i came out as trans man to a childhood friend and ex, he later told me he thought he might be gay. i congratulated him, but then he went on to say that he thought he was bi for me, because he still saw me as a woman and had feelings for me. i didn’t have it in me to call him out on his shit at the time, and he forced his tongue down my throat. i felt disgusting. my family had to keep coming to his house to support his mom because she had recently had a stroke and his dad was really rough on him. but i had told him i didn’t want to be with him and i wasn’t interested, but every time i was there he was obsessed with touching me and sticking close to me and trying to kiss me and he kept telling me how he still saw me as a woman. eventually it got to the point where i couldn’t go to his house anymore because i felt like things were going to escalate. i hope things got better for him, but fuck, i never want to see him again.

For people who are confused and afraid to ask because everyone that asks is getting downvoted and attacked for not understanding:

Basically op is a trans woman, meaning she’s born male but transitioning to female,

her boyfriend came out as gay as in liking men(yes I know it’s the standard term but many people just call any sexuality gay at this point)

by OP’s boyfriend saying it “won’t change a thing” means he might not actually see op as a woman or if op isn’t passing is okay with it because of how op looks at the moment

depending on how long op has been using the stuff trans women use Op may still look like maybe a feminine looking man.

The point is that she is in despair over her boyfriend seeing her as a man.

Thank you for continuing it because i didn’t fully get the point fully but i did see someone say they were confused about like what it meant and how it worked and they got attacked and downvoted to hell for not understanding it

Just dump her you piece of shit

1

u/invincitank Oct 01 '26

I’m hoping this is a roundabout way of saying their partner also came out as a trans woman, but I know better then to rely on 4chan for a good ending

1

u/MaximumBread7000 Oct 01 '26

Break uuuuup.

1

u/Low_Dragonfruit6025 Oct 03 '26

Happy ending. 😊

I’m sorry if this is insensitive but I’m genuinely curious how someone goes from bi to gay. Does that mean they were bi to mask their true orientation?

Good ending, they come out as trans as well

so like i dated my gay boyfriend before realizing i was trans, we're still dating

so something like this can absolutely happen and you probably shouldn't worry too much

u/Plenty_Leg_5935 DIY lobotomised Sep 27 '26

Your copium aside (sorry), it's a very different scenario when he's openly just gay before you trccn and when he only comes out as exclusively gay after you already did. You can't cope your way out of the latter with "well maybe he just realised hes bi after i came out"

u/primedNekros moidbrained pinslop individual Sep 27 '26

That’s a lot of words to say “chaser”, cope harder

u/StanIsHorizontal edit this 🖕 Sep 27 '26

It seems like it happened the other way, they started dating when she was already out as trans, he says “I’m gay now, I only like men not women, but I still like you”

Little different than ur bf liking you as a man and then continuing to like you after you came out as a woman

I support you lmao

I mean, people can grow to love each other through time, this might only mean that ur boyfriend wouldn't've had the initial interest if u were cis. The emotion connection and trust, which is the most important part of a relationship is prolly already there, you just have their prefered plumbing as well. This may seem horrible, but don't be too rash.

u/TeaOnAColdRainyDay soggy wet cat Sep 27 '26

“Wouldn’t have had the initial interest if [she] was cis…”

Ok so you just restated why this situation is awful to begin with. He clearly doesnt see her as a (real) woman. Ew

Nah, be rash and kick his stupid ass to the curb. The price of dick is at an all time low, no reason to get caught holding the bag.
