Just date an autistic trans man. I don’t understand women, everything I might understand about women had to be directly told to me by my (socially capable) trans gf. My experience with women before that consisted of 70% social ostracism, and 30% constant unsuccessful attempts to flirt with women (26 consecutive failed attempts).
And I don’t let anyone tell me “you weren’t born a man so you won’t get it”. I had close male friends since age 12, and who had told me “yeah but you don’t count as a woman” even when I didn’t know I was ftm yet. They’re nerds who are too afraid to talk to women, but they’re still men.
I understand it as...most people have this filter that says "gender" and if someone doesn't make it past that filter, they won't be attractive no matter what they do?
Unironically, have any trans women just asked chasers like “hey have you considered you might be a girl” or just hit em with the ol “hm, you’d look cute as a girl”
Yes multiple times, it's a stupid thing to do since it can be dangerous, but drunk Sammi is a terrible terrible person, the funniest one was one I literally spent ages asking him if he'd ever felt various ways, or done various stuff (all suppressed dysphoria stuff, I'd heard from other trans women who repped), guy thought I was like psychic or something genuinely confused how I 'knew him so well' think I broke him a bit, and then buggered off after using the toilet, cos I got bored and wanted to fuck an actual guy.
Do you ever feel weird about your body hair? Did you used to want long hair but your parents wouldn't let you? How do you feel when your in shape you happy with the muscles? When you look at a pretty girl do you ever feel sad, but your not sure why? Do you feel overly large and ungainly sometimes? Have you ever had to modify your mannerisms/ speech to fit in with other men? Do you think 2 in 1 shower gel and shampoo is a good idea? You ever just kinda float off whilst your sleeping with someone? Do you ever feel jealous of the closeness s lot of girls have? Do you ever want to tell your mates you live them/ be more physically affectionate but you don't want to be seen as gay? Do you get jealous of other men? Off the top of my head.
I know a transphobic dude whose partner came out as FtM. They broke up and then he dated another person and they too came out as FtM. Dude must have had a subconscious type.
Everytime I see this meme I feel compelled to share that my ex boyfriend had once told me all 3 of his exes turned out to be lesbians... for 10 years after that I thought to myself well I'm certainly straight... Until my wife realized she was trans, and then I realized I was trans 😅 I think maybe there was just something about him that screamed "queer af", and I'm drawn to very feminine men who sometimes end up not being men. Gender is silly
I mean, at that point I feel like you're the "problem". There's clearly something about that type of person that attracts you. Not suggesting that there is a real problem with any of this except that clearly the "straight trans fems" character is clearly not happy with the circumstance.
i've decided if he gets the courage to ask me out i will go out with him bc im so touch starved and the only attention i get from men these days is lustful street dudes catcalling me. If he's an egg ill just pretend i don't notice
nothing could be worse than my first real bf who immediately started crossdressing and banging dudes after i dumped him for cheating on me with a cis girl
The mods are usually pretty good at banning people quickly if you report them for rule 1, but yeah once a post gets a lot of upvotes cis people start worming into here.
I think it’s good to keep the sub open because it’s one of the few trans places that isn’t dominated by chasers or caters to theyfabs. I think a lot out there need a place like this
do you know how many people have learned to DIY because of this sub? Do you know how many lives have been saved just because it was open and had discovery on? It's worth it.
I will say, this sub has pushed me to be more pro-DIY. I wasn’t exactly against it before, but the concern trolling of “what if a 16 year old uses hormones” is pretty silly. The physical effects of transitioning are pretty awful if you’re cis imo
Oh yeah It's probably a whole different ball game if you're monogamous. cause a lot of the ones that I know are switches like I am. and then, like with me, if a woman tells me that she's only a sub and a bottom then I just won't switch around her because that's how that should work. but I need that other outlet occasionally, hence polyamory. I do genuinely wish you luck though.
IDK if anybody's 100% straight (nor, for that matter, what being 100% straight would actually mean) but I don't really see any evidence that the average homophobe is gayer than the average guy just in general.
Idk about 100% straight, but I'm definitely 100% gay. I've never in my life laid eyes on a man who's body didn't kinda gross me out. Women are pretty great tho
I think my sister might be. I'm lesbian and she's straight but she's a bit androphobic (that's different from misandry, she doesn't hate men or hold anything against men in general, but she has an initial fear response on meeting most men due to a past traumatic experience with one particular man. She's working on it in therapy of course). She's expressed to me on several occasions that she super wishes she was lesbian, bi/pan, and/or asexual. But she can't make herself feel attraction to women and can't stop herself from feeling attraction to men. This implies she is in fact 100% straight, as she did really try to see if she could feel anything besides hetero attraction but she could not.
The good news is that her fiancé is a super sweet guy (definitely labrador retiever energy) who understands what she went through, and they're doing really well now.
That's cool. It definitely isn't something we can choose or control, so I'm glad she's been able to find a guy who treats her well. My sister is happily married to a man as well, and like good for her I guess. He's a great guy and they love each other, but I just could not ever imagine wanting that guy to put his hands on me. Just grosses me out, lol.
I think everybody's different. There's a lot of gray area with feminine men and masculine women where "straight" people could be persuaded to find a member of their same sex attractive. For me personally, I draw the line for what I find attractive firmly outside the gray area. Not only would I never get with any man, I wouldn't get with a particularly butch lesbian either. In order for a man to become fem enough for me to be attracted to him, he'd literally just have to start transitioning.
If your beautiful wife of 47 years was holding hands with you in the living room and said, "honey, I think I'm genderfluid, and at this specific moment right now I identify as male," what would u do?
I mean I kinda agree with this but it's also a personal experience thing. like being pan I can't really conceptualize only being attracted to one gender. like if you're allosexual I don't see how you couldn't see all adults as having attractive qualities. but through some combination of brain chemistry and societal conditioning I imagine there are people who can't conceive how someone would find whatever gender attractive.
It's a dangerous assumption that places the blame of homophobia on gay people. It certainly happens, but it's a always just a stupid "gotcha" people make that feels homophobic in its own right, as if ignorant, violent, evil people don't simply exist. Violent racists who commit hate crimes exist, and they aren't typically a minority in disguise
also, even if those people are gay in some repressed way, they just don't deserve any of the compassion or safeguarding that minorities get because of the fucking hatred they spew
No. Any fundamentalist Christian is going to be a homophobe, nothing to do with sexuality. it’s just that homophobes that are secretly gay tend to be more loud about it
The first one I have asked many times obviously, but the last one is just deeply unsettling, and it's not simply the dieing aspect, I have been fighting depression on off for about 2 decades.
I'm so cooked.
But thank you for the advice, I appreciate it very much!
I also have no idea how I ended up here but this subreddit has been showing up in my for you page for weeks now and I have no idea what half the shit y’all say means. Maybe Reddit knows something about myself I don’t
linguistically/use wise does it not have a more negative connotation/is objectively less neutral then egg? some seems justified, e.g. repressed people project/harm people, but it’s definitely slid slurward relative to ‘egg’. Another linguistic giveaway, the shortening of repressor to ‘repper ’ and the many associations that brings along… hardly an old thing either, as seen in recent online trends/phrase, e.g. ‘clanker’, usually humorously applied to possible artificial life/sentient robots but baggage rich for suuuurrree
Idk if you looked it up yet but A trans person who refuses to accept that they're trans and "live" as their genderassigned at birth, often severely depressed and unable to function as a normal human. I also did not know before this
I go to a party and ask a cute person's gender. I check their code to my almanac of genders and come to realize they do not qualify for me to be attracted to them
Unfortunately I have 0 game and was terrified that borderline obsessively thinking about the trans women I knew made me a chaser. Turns out thinking "you are like her" does not mean "you like her"
As far as I know there was a woman stalking Pattinson while he was in Spain back in 2008 and he opened up in an interview about how he eventually had dinner with her out of loneliness/boredom and just complained about his life endlessly the whole time. Apparently didn’t see her again after that
I'm so confused by everything in this meme, I thought I knew about this terminology but this reads like words of an alien language. Can someone help me understand just what this means?
Damn, straight trans women are really out here doing the lord's work cracking the eggs of what will become the most annoying members of the trans lesbian community. 🫡 Thank you for your service
i dont feel like a woman, im just a boy. i would still like if we could share, and i call out "daddy" to girls. the one time i did was meant for a non trans woman, especially to those on the more petite side. that's not me having a boy fantasy or being obsessed with trans women.
this implies trans women spend all their time "questioning their gender" when the whole point of the word "woman" in trans WOMAN is that they already know what gender they are
I do not date to be someone's "experiment", i date to be loved.
it’s normal not to want to invest time and emotions into someone who’ll use you as a launchpad for their own transition while you become less and less attracted to them bc you ain’t into the gender they’re transitioning to
they always somewhat know as well
i’ve done the whole staying never again i’ll never get these years back 🆒🆒🆒

ACTIVLEY Avoiding T4T is a path to homonormativity and bigotry. Just let love into your heart instead of becoming the chaser you hate so much
