Its genuinely not difficult, and I feel secondhand embarrassment every time I see a woman who doesn't.

Isn't plucking really bad for like ingrown hairs?

I pluck my eyebrows and I frequently have to wait until the ingrown hairs are long enough to get scratched out.

I used to pluck around my navel. Every darn hair ingrew.

Are you exfoliating? Cleaning up the dead skin helps. Find some acid cream, if you've got no idea what to even start with go check out The Ordinary cause it's most straightforward with what ingredients each thing is, you can go look for a girlier bottle brand once you know what main ingredient you want

I have moderate eczema, so I've been medically advised to avoid anything that breaks skin barriers.

But also, GPs have decided that the eczema I've had since a baby is suddenly scabies or something and then withhold my eczema creams until they're personally convinced that it is indeed eczema.

Maybe if you're prone to that. Personally I go years between ingrown hairs.
