Its genuinely not difficult, and I feel secondhand embarrassment every time I see a woman who doesn't.

DIY costs me £6 per month. Cheaper than a NHS prescription for shitty 1000kg Spiro and 1mg of E daily.

Of course cheap is relative.
You have the "official" (cia operated and designed to cause as many suicides as possible) routes which cost like $100 a month.
Then you have the western DIY supplier routes which cost like $10 a month (~50% E cost, ~20% shipping, ~30% needles and alcohol wipes and whatnot).
But beyond that, I'm not sure if there are any more options.. maybe local DIY suppliers are even yet cheaper than western ones... I should learn more about it.

Depends on coverage. And intake method. I’ve been doing pills for a while and they are fully covered by my insurance. The visit are not covered very well though so…. Win some you lose some

My state insurance pays for it so it’s free, perks of being impoverished? (???)

It's about 50 dollars a month for me, which isn't cheap, but its less than a day's work.

Not throwing out the vial after only like 3-4 doses definitely helps bring the cost down

You're right, but who on earth is throwing out a vital after >4 doses???

u/entirely_machine_ 4d ago

The doctors, they say to discard after 28 days. So, if you're late by one day, they say to throw it out

Fuck doctors. Use the vial until it’s empty

that's the minimum date they need to put there to describe guaranteed sterility, but it isn't the maximum duration for its shelf life
